Filibuster Obstructa (スターフィリバスター Sutā Firibasutā, Star Filibuster) is an enemy that appears in Cats of the Cosmos Chapter 3. He appears in his own special stage that works like Zombie Outbreaks, albeit in Cats of the Cosmos Chapter 3, and it is only available once the chapter is completed. After clearing the stage, he will be unlocked as the Legend Cat, Filibuster Cat X.
Enemy[]
Filibuster Obstructa will always destroy the Cat Base in one hit and can reach it no matter how far away he is. Your goal is to prevent him from ever completing his attack animation.
His attack animation is 40 seconds long and he has 200 knockbacks, making it fairly easy to interrupt him, as only 10,000 damage is needed to trigger a knockback. The problem lies in his immunity to the Cat Cannon and Wave Attacks, not to mention his massive standing range, which makes him hard to reach with all kinds of enemies in front of him.

- He is based on Evangelist Cat's Evolved Form, Filibuster Cat.
- "Obstructa" could be a reference to Filibuster Cat's Japanese description, which states that he can "obstruct the flow".
- He is the only Starred Alien to have neither Warp nor Barrier abilities.
- He has the second highest base attack power of all enemies, standing at 1 million, barely surpassing the Scarecrow's and Teacher Cybear's 999,999 damage and only surpassed by Metafilibuster's 3 million damage. However, due to his 45.03-second attack rate, he's still a long way off from having the highest DPS.
- He has the longest effective range and is tied with Sunrise Doge for the second-longest standing range of all enemies, with Shin Godzilla in first place.
- He is tied with his variant Metafilibuster for the longest foreswing in the game.
- Prior to version 8.3.2, Filibuster Obstructa had an effective range of 50~4050, rather than 300~4300. This would cause him to stand 50 range away from the base, and thus in front of the enemies designed to protect him. This change was made to prevent the player from cheesing him easily with Sniper the Cat.
- The main loop of Filibuster's theme is exactly 40 seconds long, which is the same as his attack animation.
- Filibuster Obstructa has the highest potential health of any unit in the game at 100% magnification, having 32,000,000 HP with zero Anti-Starred alien crystals.
- However, with magnifications taken into account, this gets beaten by the Super Cosmic Cyclones in Wrath of the Wormhole (Merciless), who have 63,999,936 HP each without treasures.
