Strategy[]

Super Metal Hippoe is the real boss of this stage. Don't even try this stage without any Critical hitters. Doing Rare Cat Capsule draws can provide you with either Jurassic Cat or anti-Red/Floating units that can beat Crimson Catastrophe, which drops Space Cat. Space Cat's superior range makes him arguably more reliable if you haven't unlocked Jurassic Cat's True Form, but either could work.

Critical Hitters aside, all you need is a generalist lineup with a few meatshields and strong yet spammable Area Attackers to deal with the Crazed Fish.

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: 4 cheap meatshields, Paris Cat 25, Major Space Cat 20, UFO Cat 20, Dragon Cat 20+5, Valkyrie Cat 20, Crazed Bahamut Cat 20, a backliner uber or a cheap midranger with Area Attack.

Items: Rich Cat

Send out one Paris Cat to kill the Crocos at the beginning. When the Crazed Fish Cat hits the Paris Cat, spam all the meatshields, the goal being to stall the Crazed Fish. When the trio of Crazed Fish appears, start spamming Parises and stacking Dragons. Killing these first four Crazed Fish should be easy and give you enough money to afford Crazed Bahamut Cat and UFO Cats. Afterwards, spam everything as you advance towards the enemy base.

Don't worry about Super Metal Hippoe. He cannot advance unless you stop spamming meatshields, and even when you run low on money, the Crazed Fish drop enough money to take care of that.

For the rest of the battle, the Crazed Fish Cats aren't really much of a problem. As soon as they advance close enough to hit your damage dealers, Paris Cat and your other units should kill them, providing you with the money you need to afford your second, third, or even fourth Bahamut.

Strategy 2 (Level 20s, no gacha)[]

Lineup: 3 cheap meatshields, Crazed Wall or Eraser, Moneko, a better critical hitter (Space Cat works good,) Dragon Cat, anything that outranges the fishes with area attack (If desperate, even Kung Fu can work,) Valkyrie, and Bahamut.

Items: Rich Cat, CPU (optional) and Sniper (optional)

Lure the Crocos to your base and stall with Walls until the first Fish is kinda close, then send out Valkyrie. Start spamming Walls and two of the other meatshields (use slower ones), and when you have the money, use Bahamut. For the next wave, use all your meatshields and send out Dragons. An Area Attacker or two wouldn't hurt either. Just make sure Bahamut hits them. Now that you have tons of money you can spam everything until you reach the base. Killing the Hippo is luck based, but it's not that bad because at level 20, Space Cat just has to crit 4 times. By the way, this is what your Area Attacker is for. The Fish hide behind the Hippo and stack up fast, because Valkyrie and Bahamut aren't enough by themselves. Once the Hippo dies, you'll most likely win.
