Strategy[]

Super Metal Hippoe is the real boss of this stage. Don't even try this stage without any Critical hitters. Doing Rare Cat Capsule draws can provide you with either Catasaurus or anti-Red/Floating units that can beat Crimson Catastrophe, which drops Space Cat.

Critical Hitters aside, all you need is a generalist lineup with a few meatshields and strong yet spammable Area Attackers to deal with the Crazed Fish.

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: Paris Cat 25, Major Space Cat 20, UFO Cat 20, Dragon Cat 20+5, True Valkyrie Cat 20, Crazed Bahamut Cat 20

Items: Rich Cat

Notes:

  • The first four slots are for meatshields.
  • The last two slots can be replaced with backliner uber or a cheap midranger with Area Attack.

Send out one Paris Cat to kill the Crocos at the beginning. When the Crazed Fish Cat hits the Paris Cat, spam all the meatshields, the goal being to stall the Crazed Fish. When the trio of Crazed Fish appears, start spamming Parises and stacking Dragons. Killing these first four Crazed Fish should be easy and give you enough money to afford Crazed Bahamut Cat and UFO Cats. Afterwards, spam everything as you advance towards the enemy base.

Don't worry about Super Metal Hippoe. He cannot advance unless you stop spamming meatshields, and even when you run low on money, the Crazed Fish drop enough money to take care of that.

For the rest of the battle, the Crazed Fish Cats aren't really much of a problem. As soon as they advance close enough to hit your damage dealers, Paris Cat and your other units should kill them, providing you with the money you need to afford your second, third, or even fourth Bahamut.

Strategy 2 (Level 20s, no gacha)[]

Lineup: Crazed Wall Cat, Miss MONEKO, Major Space Cat, Kung Fu Cat, Dragon Cat, Valkyrie Cat, Bahamut Cat

Items: Rich Cat Cat CPU and Sniper the Cat

Notes:

  • Only rich cat is required, CPU and Sniper the Cat are optional but make it much much easier.
  • Crazed Wall can be replaced with Eraser.

The first three slots are for meatshields.

Lure the Crocos to your base and stall with Walls until the first Fish is kinda close, then send out Valkyrie. Start spamming meatshields and send Bahamut, then attackers once you have money. Once the second wave is killed, spam everything until you reach the base. Delay the spawning of fast meatshields to avoid reaching the Cat Limit. You can turn on Cat CPU here, just turn it off whenever you have low money.

Killing the Super Metal Hippoe is luck based, but Space Cat only has to crit 4 times at level 20. The Fish hide behind the Hippoe and stack up fast, but Kung Fu can reach them to help Valkyrie and Bahamut. Once the Hippoe dies, you enter the "seesaw phase". Bahamut is needed to handle Fish waves, but won't survive at the enemy base because the Cat Limit creates gaps.

When this happens, stop sending units then do anything you can to defend until the next Bahamut. Try to destroy the base in 2 or 3 cycles because your chances of survival decrease every time. Avoid or waste the Cat Cannon as it causes the Fishes to sync up and kill your attackers in a single hit. Sniper is also very valuable for the seesaw phase because it desyncs the Fishes and reduces risk of Bahamut dying before reaching the base.
