Flower Cat is a Special Cat that can be obtained by repeatedly dragging the cat-paw doorknob in the Cat Base Menu. A "meow" informs you that it is done correctly. You also need to repeat the action somewhat quickly. True Form added in Version 6.2 grants Area Attacks and a guaranteed Freeze chance.

Strategy/Usage[]
Normal/Evolved Form[]
Flower Cat and Cooldown Cat are practically as useless against Black as against non-Black enemies, due to their single-target attacks and low freeze chance. They can only be useful against Black Cyclone and Razorback, optimizing their low range.
True Form[]
In True Form, Bombercat easily becomes an anti-Black mainstay, being able to shut down almost all Black enemies either when stacked and protected, or with help from Combos. By default, only 2 are needed to perma-freeze, allowing him to counter even the most dangerous and dense swarms of Black enemies as they usually have just around 200 range or less. When used properly, he can reduce Black-focused stages such as XP Colosseum, Revenge of B-Cyclone and Merciless XP to rubble.
Bombercat is not without weaknesses, however, and they can become clear in later levels of Legend Stages. His long backswing renders him open to enemies' attacks, and when Bombercat misses an attack, he will be unlikely to survive due to how aggressive Black enemies can get. Longer-ranged Black enemies like Kurosawah can also be a problem as he may perish before he can reach them. This can be a very serious problem for Bombercat, especially on stages which mix Black threats with others (The Holy Exploit, The Spy Who Pet Me, Primitive Souls, etc.) or if they are impossible to freeze due to other complications (Dark Lazer's rapid attacks knocking Black enemies away, Ragin' Gory's freeze immunity, curse disabling his ability, etc). While in some cases, you can still let the next one take over, you will inevitably lose a lot of ground. The best thing you can do to fix this problem is to time your Bombercat well so he doesn't miss his target and freezes a large number of Black enemies.

Appearance[]
- Normal Form: A chubby cat holding a five-petalled flower with a cat face. Attacks by throwing the flower down and admiring it while the flower dances.
- Evolved Form: Exchanges the flower for a cat-faced fan. Wears a towel and sweats a lot with a red face. Attacks by slamming the fan on the ground, which faces the cat.
- True Form: Has some sort of antenna on his head, presumably a prop, wears a suit with a belt, and holds a stack of 3 cartoony bombs.

Trivia[]
- Flower Cat's design and attack animation reference the FLOWER ROCK, a toy potted flower first released by Tomy in 1988. The toy would "dance" in response to sound such as clapping, just like in Flower Cat's attack animation. Flower Cat was in the Nostalgia Combo because the FLOWER ROCK is an old toy.
- Bombercat is an obvious reference to the Bomberman franchise and its eponymous protagonist.
- Cooldown Cat appears behind the door in the menu during the Summer Break Cats event.
- In the Nintendo 3DS version, Flower Cat is a Super Rare Cat and can be unlocked via the Rare Cat Capsule.
