Freshman Cat Jobs is a Super Rare Cat that can be unlocked by playing the Rare Cat Capsule/Gacha when "Reinforcements Cats" are part of the current pool. True Form added in Version 9.9 increases movement speed, survives a lethal strike and creates Surge Attacks.

Strategy/Usage[]
It's always worth bringing Prof. Cat Jobs for the Good Jobs! Combo in XP stages and easy stages overall, but he can also be useful in his own right as a support unit. He may be useless in cases where there are enemies that can hit past the frontline (such as Kory with his Waves), and he cannot take on hordes, but he can nullify almost all damage from single, mid-low-ranged bosses, such as Teacher Bun Bun, Bore, R.Ost and other bosses whose range is less than his, as long as he is protected and helped in making sure to hit the right enemy. The downside is that you'll have to fight them close to the Cat Base, as waiting for him to inch his way towards the enemy base may take longer than just killing them outright.
He is very useful against the Cyclones, as he can outrange nearly all of them and cause them to deal vastly reduced damage, making it harder for them to break through your units. This is most useful for Primeval Cyclone, which has very few other non-Uber counters.
Freshman Cat Jobs can be used to stall Big Sal and Miss Haka at the Cat Base in a pinch if needed. Even with his Base Destroyer, Big Sal will just chip off the base slowly with his mighty attacks.
True Form[]
Headmaster Cat Jobs' Surge Attack can, in part, solve the Single Target problem, as all enemy units that enter it will be weakened. The Surge also has a chance to snipe backliners, as it can reach all the way to 1,050 range. However, the unreliability of this huge spawn area makes for a double-edged sword unless stacked; sooner or later, one of the Surges will spawn away from what it should be hitting, giving the enemies a chance to start pushing again.
His extra movement speed and ability to survive a lethal strike allow Cat Jobs bring him from a gimmick unit that's impractical outside of some odd scenarios to a useful cat that can genuinely help on many stages, as he is more likely to reach the enemy in time, even entering the range of the likes of THE SLOTH to possibly weaken them in time, in addition to being able to last twice as long on the battlefield.
He can be stacked on stages with Metal enemies or enemies with Barriers to make the Surges reliably hit both the frontlines and backlines of the Doge Army, not differently to how Hacker Cat is used. However, this may not work if there are too many enemies that outrange him, as even with his new abilities Headmaster Cat Jobs is merely a support unit and is extremely fragile, dying easily if not properly backed.

Trivia[]
- The word Okamehachimoku in Freshman Cat Jobs' Japanese name, Okamehachimoku Cat, means "bystander's vantage point": the idea that a person observing a game or other such scenario can judge each move better than those participating.
- Prof. Cat Jobs' Japanese name, Dr. Okamenomizu, is a reference to Hiroshi Ochanomizu, an Astro Boy character who also has white curly hair and is often depicted in a white suit with four buttons.
- His descriptions refer to the real-life Harvard University & Nobel Prize.
- Apart from the Iron Wall Cat, Freshman Cat Jobs is the slowest Cat Unit in the game, tied with Mighty Kristul Muu and Li'l Clops Cat Egg.
- Freshman Cat Jobs made a cameo on the Study upgrade's icon before he was added to the game.
- Prof. Cat Jobs is the only cat in the game to have a Study Power UP Cat Combo, that being Good Jobs!.
- Freshman Cat Jobs' weaken ability, when applied to enemies with very low damage per hit, can result in such enemies delivering 0 damage to Cats (who may need the resistant ability to reduce that damage even further). This results in the "damage dealt" sound not playing, similarly to when Dodge Attack is active. In this circumstance, even cats that have already survived a lethal strike are able to tank unlimited attacks. This is easy to note on Kang Roo, as her second hit is very weak, dealing less than 50 damage even in Empire of Cats Chapter 3, meaning that it is rounded to 0 on anything.
- Freshman Cat Jobs is tied with Elder Flame Doron for the strongest weaken of any character in the game, reducing unit damage to 1% of their original.
