Strategy/Usage[]
Normal Form[]
This form is useless by design. Similar to the other cats from Tales of the Nekoluga, this cat is not meant to be used until it evolves.
Evolved Form[]
Intentionally or otherwise, Furilan Pasalan is borderline useless against anything that doesn't have a Shield. Due to its abysmal stats and lack of general abilities, the only reason to use Furilan Pasalan is to safely and reliably break the Shields of major enemies such as Le'Behemoth and Fallen Bear, as its range exceeds that of any other Shield Piercer. While it does do a good job at breaking Shields and Barriers once every 18 seconds, if you just want to break Barriers and not Shields, the Breakerblast Cannon could save you a slot. Even setting the Breakerblast aside, several non-Uber units can break Barriers like Furilan Pasalan while being cheaper to deploy and/or providing literally anything more aside from just breaking Barriers.
It is also worth mentioning that although Furilan Pasalan has extremely long range, it is very much vulnerable to Surge Attacks. This is especially dangerous against Fallen Bears and Condemned Pengs, as these enemies' surges can take out Furilan very easily if they reach it, and they very consistently surge as they are spawned and sometimes spammed often in The Aku Realms. Without the protection of Boulder Cat or Zamboney Cat, surges from Sinner Snache may also break the Cat frontline and leave Furiluga defenseless.
True Form[]
Ragelan Pasalan gains more health, a faster attack rate and Surge Immunity. It still carries most of its previous flaws, primarily its low survivability and long cooldown while being outclassed at countering Barriers, but is now a safer pick in Aku stages by easily dismissing two of their major gimmicks. Additionally, surge-immune defenders such as Cat Cactus can improve its survivability further by keeping Aku enemies from pushing.
As expected, Ragelan Pasalan's 100% Mini-Surge can be inconsistent, as its nature as an anti-Shield specialist means it doesn't serve to inflict extra damage. However, since Shield Piercing isn't reliant on the unit's own damage and the Surge has a tiny spawn area, Ragelan Pasalan can potentially snipe and destroy Shields that are just outside of its attack range by catching those that wander into its area of effect, saving other units a lot of trouble.
Finally, Ragelan Pasalan gains a Cat Combo with Cat Researcher that boosts Worker Start Level by 2. Being rather efficient for its effect, it helps to greatly ease awkward startoffs in many Aku stages, as both units specialize in demolishing enemy Shields. Additionally, it could be potentially be paired with the likes of Longnecks, Don't Mess With Me!, Cat Transport and Itchy Riches. As such, this True Form may be worth it even if just for the combo.

Trivia[]
- Furiluga's name is derived from the English word furious.
- Furiluga's Japanese name, Okoruga, is derived from the word 怒る okoru, meaning "get angry".
- Furiluga and Papaluga are the only Lugas whose Normal Forms' English and Japanese names are entirely different from one another, although in this case they at least still carry the same meaning.
- Furiluga is a reference to how an anime or manga character's hair might stand up during or after a transformation or when using powers, often due to extreme emotions such as fury. An example of such a transformation is Super Saiyan from the Dragon Ball franchise.
- Furiluga is the second unevolved Luga whose stats are different from the rest, with Legeluga being the first. More specifically:
- Its DPS at level 30 is 968 instead of 933.
- Its attack cycle lasts for 79 frames instead of 82.
- Its attack foreswing is 10 frames long instead of 13.
- Ragelan Pasalan's appearance and description reference the Hunter x Hunter character Gon's appearance after temporarily aging into an older version of himself from extreme fury. This form of Gon's took the Internet by storm as soon as it was revealed, becoming a meme known as Gon-san.
- Ragelan Pasalan's Japanese name, Gekioko Pasalan, is derived from an online slang term for extreme anger, Geki Oko Punpun Maru, which became well known thanks to a Tweet by @yuto_com_tm listing names for different stages of anger purportedly used by gyaru.
- Ragelan Pasalan's English description reads like an unevolved Nekoluga's description, as it points at his absurdity rather than hinting at who he's referencing like every other Nekoluga.
- This is not the case with his Japanese description, so it might not be intentional.
