Strategy/Usage
Gardener Cat is like the anti-Zombie, Single Target version of Catornado as he has a very fast attack rate with the ability to stop Zombie enemies. However, the success rate of his ability is very low to match his attack rate.
Send Gardener Cat out behind your meatshields but in front of your long-range attackers in Zombie Outbreaks for a deadly combo against the dead. He can also help a lot in The Rolling Dead due to Zyclone's low range and speed, making it easy to create a stack. On top of all of that he has Zombie Killer, giving you a higher chance at getting rid of the Zyclone for good.
Gardener Cat's lightning-fast attack speed makes it very useful against early and mid-game Metal enemies like Metal Hippoe. Alongside Cow Cat, you can make quick work of them.
True Form
The increased freeze duration is a huge help for this cat, as it gives more time until the next freeze, effectively making it easier to permafreeze zombies. The increased range and health help a lot as well, as it increases his survivability, making him easier to stack. The range increase is helpful against the likes of Lord Gravey, as although Weedwacker Cat can't outrange him, his fast attack rate and the fact that they share the same range can give him a chance to slip in during Gravey's backswing and freeze him. However, due to Weedwacker's low freeze rate, it's not very consistent and shouldn't be relied on too heavily.
