Strategy/Usage[]
This unit is a Tank Cat variant, sharing cost, cooldown and usage in general. Although his stats are lackluster, especially as the game progresses, he can be a great asset for dealing with Floating enemies early on. He is generally outclassed by Tank Cat, though, so it should never be used on stages without Floating enemies.
Later in the game, he will need Catseyes to stay relevant, as Eraser and Crazed Wall can get close to its health, even against floating. If given the chance to, however, Gold Brick Cat can become a solid alternative to Kotatsu Cat in stages where spam is important, thus becoming a solid choice for any Floating-heavy stage, particularly when Kotatsu Cat isn't an option, such as 4 crown legend stages.
True Form[]
King Nekokhamen is a small improvement, gaining some health and toxic immunity for a rare and precious Gold Catfruit. For this reason, it is not recommended to focus on unlocking him.
With this being said, his health and new ability make him an ideal counter to Gobble and Zollow, while also bringing him close to Kotatsu's level when it comes to tanking Floating. He still faces competition from a talented Riceball Cat, though, as he is cheaper, but Riceball is faster and has similar health to Nekokhamen vs. Floating, but for every trait.

Trivia[]
- King Ingot Cat being a fusion of several Gold Brick Cats may be a reference to the "rat king" phenomenon.
- King Nekokhamen's Japanese description states that it is a World Heritage Site.
- King Nekokhamen's name is a portmanteau of neko, meaning "cat", and King Tutankhamen, an ancient Egyptian King.
- This connection is furthered by King Nekokhamen wearing a mask very similar to the mask of Tutankhamun.
