Golem Sunfish works like a weaker Ultima Beast Naala, cursing and briefly freezing cats with a three-part ranged attack that comes with a relatively long time between attacks. Although the three hits add up to cover a massive area of 1,300 range, the first hit - which carries most of the damage, as well as freeze and curse effects - lacks piercing range, and has a blind spot that includes most meatshields.
Strategy[]
The most dangerous thing about Golem Sunfish is the support it comes with, like R.Ost and the advent boss Kappy Kawano in Ghost King Finale, as even a brief curse effect can spoil the performance of your specialists if you push too far into its first hit. Its second and third hits don't deal as much damage, but it will add up which will chip and eventually kill your backliners and kill your weaker meatshields.
Cat Mask Doron is a valuable unit to use against Golem Sunfish, being able to freeze it for 5 seconds and thus buying more time for units such as Fishman Cat, Idi:N2, Bullet Train Cat and Jellycat to chip down its health. Likewise, Octopus Cat can also tank it with the Curse Immunity Talent.
