Cat Unit # 520 |
---|
Super Rare Cat |
Cat
Evolves into Bad-Luck Ebisu at level 10.
Pros
- 30% chance to knockback, freeze, slow and weaken traited enemies.
- Gains double money from defeated enemies.
- Relatively high health.
- Multi-hit makes him more likely to deliver status effects.
- Long Distance ability.
- Decent range.
Cons
- High cost.
- Single target
- Long recharging time
- Big blind spot.
Strategy/Usage:
Essentially a walking Pandora's Box, Ebisu can be used to bring torment to any opponent he comes into contact with (minus enemies that have obnoxiously long range like Tackey, Mr. Mole, etc).
At first, his low proc rate of 30% seems pathetic, but when taking account of his multi-hit attack, the rate of a debuff jumps to more than 70%, which is more than impressive to keep enemy hordes at bay.
Keep in mind however that Ebisu is not completely reliable as his single target and low uptime, along with long cooldown limits his power, so use him best as support for your other CC cats.

Trivia
- Good-Luck Ebisu is named after the Japanese god of fishermen and luck Ebisu, who is one of the seven Japanese gods of fortune. Similar to the unit's appearance, Ebisu is often depicted as a cheery dwarfish man with the proportions of a baby, wearing a tall hat, and carrying a rod and fish.
- Good-Luck Ebisu is similar to Mimilan Pasalan, boasting several different abilities that each have a 30% chance to activate.
- Unlike Mimiluga, however, he cannot perform Critical Hits and is a Super Rare.
