Grotesque Gallery (変覧会の絵 Hen Ran-kai no E, Weird Painting Exhibition) is the 42nd sub-chapter of Stories of Legend. It was added in the Version 6.4 Update of The Battle Cats on the 13th of September, 2017. This sub-chapter is available up to 4★ difficulty.
Difficulty
A joke of a sub-chapter, these stages should be a breeze, with the possible exception of the last stage. The majority of the stages in Grotesque Gallery mocks the fact that if you follow a correct strategy, this chapter will be incredibly easy, however, if you do not do the stage correctly, you'll be in quite a mess. The best way to go about this sub-chapter is to read the strategies, and you should be able to sweep through it like nothing.

- 3★ difficulty for this sub-chapter multiplies enemy strength magnifications by 130%.
- 4★ difficulty for this sub-chapter makes no change to enemy strength magnifications and only allows Special Cats and Rare Cats to be deployed.

Although not his first appearance in-game, Angel Fanboy makes his first and only appearance in Stories of Legend here.

Hit it before then and face infinite Angelic Gories, Angelic Sleipnirs and Sunfish Joneses, all insanely buffed. |

Make it through the line of walls and destroy the base before three minutes, or face a trio of buffed CyberFaces. They can still be defeated with luck or the right lineup. |
