Strategy/Usage[]
Gude-Cat Machine's asset in battle is his gargantuan attack power and stamina, with higher base health than his Dynamites counterpart! The only thing really separating Gude-Machine from complete domination over his normal counterpart is his typing and True Form; as he can be used to counter Floating enemies quite well.
Unlike his Dynamites counterpart, this mech does not have the Wave Blocker ability, instead having the ability to Freeze Floating and Metal enemies. Despite his sluggish attack rate and attack time of 3 seconds total, like his normal counterpart, if he hits, it will be devastating. Unfortunately, there are other Cats that are able to do what Gude-Cat can do, meaning that his niche is not as valuable. On the other hand, he can do what both those Cats can do. He has the tankiness of Octopus Cat, the attack power of Fishman Cat, and the short attack range needed for a tanker.
As for his ability to freeze Metal and Floating enemies, there is competition, but luckily, Gude-Cat's ability to tank makes him valuable as support. If you think Sanzo and Necrodancer can control Floating enemies better than him, you would be right- but they are not able to tank as well as him, as he can be support while tanking them. Hoop Cat takes up his niche for Metal enemies, though, and as he has no Critical Hit ability, the only thing Gude is useful for is tanking against them.
