A wall-type enemy similar to Chocolate Doge. Its attacks are single-target but deal surprisingly high damage, 20,000 + 4,000 from a long-reaching Mini-Wave; and can randomly inflict a variety of effects including knockback, freeze, slow, weaken and curse, albeit only for 2 seconds each.
Strategy[]
All kinds of Wave Shields are useful against Haniwanwan if meatshields are spammed. As it is Single Target, this negates most of the threat it poses, although be wary of support like R.Ost and Golem Sunfish, which can kill the Wave Shields. Octopus Cat is probably your best bet. Teamaster Cat also stands out as one of the few anti-Relics to be immune to its Mini-Waves.
A dog created from clay to guard houses. It has a suite of interference and jamming functionality to prevent anyone from reaching the house. Best feature: resembles its owner.
Watchdog haniwa manufactured to guard a house. Comes with a variety of obstructive abilities to keep burglars from approaching the house at all. It is also equipped with a function to resemble its owner's face.
A Relic/Colossus variant of Haniwanwan, with greatly improved overall stats, especially range, with the exception of lower damage. Its abilities now all have a 30% chance to be activated and last for 3 seconds, with the exception of Curse, which is now 100%. Its Mini-Wave is replaced with a regular Wave Attack, and it gains Area Attack as well. To add onto this, it is also Immune to Curse to prevent its abilities from being disabled. Starts out weak, but receives massive buffs in later stages.

Haniwanwan is based on a haniwa, which were clay statues that were buried with the dead. Wan is the Japanese onomatopoeia for a dog's bark.
Since it attacks by spinning, it could also be a reference to the haniwa-like gyroids from the Animal Crossing series; the name "Gyroid" is derived from the word gyrate, meaning "rotate".
Another possible reference is to the Final Fantasy series' cactuar, a green cactus with its arms in the same exact stance as Haniwanwan's. The cactuar resemblance would be greater if Haniwanwan had the face of an actual haniwa statue instead of a Doge.
Visually, Haniwanwan is an enemy version of Haniwa Cat.
Relic Doge and Haniwanwan are the only Relic enemies whose curse abilities do not have a 100% chance to activate.
