Strategy[]

At this point, most if not all of your Normal Cats should be at level 10. The stage can still be beaten with lower levels, but it will be much harder. Having at least half of the Treasures in your current chapter is also highly recommended, especially the Legendary Cat Sword and Legendary Cat Shield.

When the battle begins, Jackie Peng and Hippoe will appear, let them get near your base. Meanwhile, upgrade your Worker Cat. When they come close enough, send out some meatshields, Sexy Legs Cat and UFO Cats. But don't overdo it, because you don't want to hit the enemy base just yet.

All the money you get from killing the enemies should help you max out the Worker Cat. Once maxed, just wait for your wallet to fill up. By the time the Gory comes, your wallet should be completely full. That's when you can spawn all of your Normal Cats at once. Then focus on spawning meatshields, Sexy Legs Cats, UFO Cats, Mythical Titan Cats, Whale Cats and Dragon Cats.

After a short time, Le'boin will join the party, which shouldn't be too hard considering that the Mythical Titan Cats will do their job. Kang Roo will also appear, but he shouldn't be much of a threat. However, if Kang Roo is tearing through your army, you should either spam meatshields or save up money for more heavy hitters. At this point, the enemy base should have already taken some good damage. If you are fast enough, you won't even need to encounter Teacher Bear and One Horn. If you do have to face them, your cats will most likely not be able to kill them in time before they respawn, so make sure to destroy the base before they start to spawn.

You can also instead spam Wall Cats and Ninja Frog Cats. The Ninja Frog Cats will kill the first lot of enemies, and then once they get to the enemy base, there should only be three Jackie Pengs. The Jackie Pengs can't advance through the Wall Cats in time while the Ninja Frog Cats destroy the enemy base.

Strategy[]

Strategy 1 (no gacha, around level 20, EoC 3)[]

Lineup: Li'l Macho Cat 20+2, Macho Cat 20+7, Wall Cat 20+7, Samba Cat 20, Cat Gang 20, Island Cat 20+12

Zombies start spawning immediately, so you want to start the fight by spamming meatshields. This would allow some of your meatshields to arrive at the enemy base and also ensure that none of the zombies can burrow directly to your base. After the first few seconds, keep sending meatshields, but don't spam all of them. You want to save some money to afford a few Cat Gangs and Island Cats. Dragon Cat can also help if at a high enough level. Cat Gang is a decent rusher here, and Island Cat is the main powerhouse against the zombies.

You also want at least a single Cat Gang to reach the enemy base to chip away at it. Since no threatening non-zombies spawn in the first 100 seconds, you can use that time to chip away at the base while the zombies will just burrow past the stack there. The Cat Gang(s) should be able to destroy the base in under 100 seconds with proper levels and treasures, so the time should be spent preventing the zombies from doing the same to you. Island Cats and proper meatshielding should be enough to keep them at bay for long enough, even defeating some.

Note that the Cat Cannon, while useful for chipping, may interrupt a zombie burrow if mistimed. Be careful to NOT interrupt zombie burrowing when you have a stack at the base, as this stack should continue chipping away at the base and NOT deal with incoming zombies. The idea behind this strategy is to deal with the zombies around the middle of this stage.

Note also that this strategy involves beating the base in under 100 seconds, so it may not be enough to deal with the Le'boins, One Horns, or Teacher Bears. The idea is to prevent these enemies from spawning at all. This stage was beaten with six units, so other units can be added to help with the rush strategy or with the non-zombie threats. Just be sure that you have enough money, since this stage can be tight on cash.

Trivia[]

  • In the Japanese version, this stage takes place in Okinawa Prefecture.
  • Hawaii and Maldives are the only locations visited in Empire of Cats not to appear in Into the Future.
  • Okinawa Prefecture's base is a statue of a shisha, an Okinawan mythological creature resembling a cross between a lion and a dog, said to ward against evil spirits. The flower on its head is an Okinawan hibiscus.
