Strategy

Use Artist Cat for the Heavenly Hippoes and Paris Cat, Dragon Cat, Crazed Dragon Cat, and other long-ranged units for the Bearkinis and Selena. The Trolly Bloggers can be a bit of an issue, but as long as you have enough spammable area attackers for them, they should not pose a threat to Artist Cat and your other meatshields.

• Like all Never Not Summer! stages, Heat Wave Blues' Japanese name, Summertime Blues Three, is a reference to a song, in this case "Summertime Blues" by Misato Watanabe.
  • Interestingly, サマータイムブルースリー can be read as either "Summertime Blues Three" or "Summertime Bruce Lee".
