Enemy

Heavenly Herald Papuu is overall weaker than Daboo of the Dead, with less health and damage, but has a significantly longer Omni Strike range, increased speed, only 1 knockback, plus a shorter battlefield in her debut stage, allowing her to hit the Cat Base from afar and a faster attack rate. Her attack power is surprisingly low for an advent boss, but her 40% Toxic ability allows her to destroy any non-immune units in up to three hits. She retains her predecessor's immunities with the addition of wave immune, and her base damage is tripled at 30% HP.

• Amongst the Tier 2 Advent Bosses, Heavenly Herald Papuu represents the virtue of diligence.
• She can be seen as a foil to Daboo of the Dead. Daboo is an unholy Zombie who is told by his 'Poppa' that his education is important, but he would rather read trashy horror comics. Papuu, on the other hand, is an Angel who takes her studies seriously, reading her textbook wherever she goes.
• Her Japanese name, ポプウ Popuu, may be derived from ポープ pōpu (pope) and デブウ Debuu (Daboo's Japanese name).
• She is the first enemy to have the Toxic ability.
• She has the longest negative omni strike range of all enemies.
• She has the lowest base DPS of all Advent Bosses.
