Challenge Mode is a mini game in Battle Cats that can only be unlocked by completing Chapter 1. Some enemies in Challenge Mode do not appear in the main chapters, and can only be found outside of Challenge Mode in the Stories of Legend. However, new enemies seen will still go to the dictionary. It does not require any energy to play. Beating the stage will give you a score about 9 digits or higher, based on how fast you have beaten the stage.. (Tip:this is also a great place to test out new cats)

Strategy
Recommended to have all the cats unlocked from playing chapter 1. Easier if you've completed chapter 2 .
Begin by spamming Wall Cat until you see the whole bunch of Kang Roos. DO NOT use your cat cannon when you see the Kang Roos. You should save it for later when Assassin Bear comes out of the enemy castle. Around this time you can upgrade your wallet to max.
Just spam Sexy Legs Cat, Macho Cat, and Brave Cat. If you have this cat, then spawn True Valkyrie Cat. When the enemy's castle health is at 90,000, you will see Assassin Bear, which can deal a lot of damage quickly to your cats. Use your Cat Cannon to kill him, however rarely a high leveled Cow/Giraffe cat can hit the bear.
Next will come Mooths, The Face, Shy Boy and a whole lot of Those Guys.

If you have Brah Cats, then spawn them too, since this cat has an ability to knockback Shy Boy (Red/Floating). You should have Bean Cats (Special Cat), because you can't play Challenge Mode before completing Bean Cats (Special Cat), and to unlock Bean Cats (Special Cat), you have to complete chapter 1. Again, Assassin Bear will show up once the enemy's castle health is at 10,000 so save up your Cat Cannon. Finish off The Face and destroy the castle.
