Hot Spring Reception is the sixth and final stage in Battle in the Bath. Mr. Puffington debuts here.

- When the base reaches 99% HP:
- 1 Mr. Puffington spawns as the boss.
- 12 Relic Doges spawn, delay 13.33~20 seconds400f~600f.
- 12 Gabriels spawn, delay 13.33~20 seconds400f~600f.
- 1 Sunfish Jones spawns.
- 2 Chickful As spawn, delay 36.67 seconds1,100f.
- 3 Sir Rels spawn, delay 0.07 seconds2f.
- 2 Relic Doges spawn, delay 0.07 seconds2f.
- 2 Gabriels spawn, delay 0.07 seconds2f.
Strategy[]
An easy way to beat this stage is to upgrade Ramen Cat to Lv.50+ with maxed Defense Buff and maxed Resist Curse Talents to survive a hit from Mr. Puffington. Your Slapstick Cats should also be Lv.50+ to survive hits from the Angels.
Bring Bony Bone, Biohazard and optionally one more Research "Effect" UP Combo. Also bring the aformentioned Ramen Cat and Slapstick Cats. The remaining slots can be filled with units of your choice. If you met the level requirements for the stage, you've effectively already won. Simply slap on a Rich Cat, start the battle, and spam Ramen Cat + Slapsticks until you are done with the stage.
If you have Detective Vigler, Lasvoss and/or Trickster Himeyuri, use them for their Research Combos (Cheating Heart?, Bad Guys and Kimono Champs, respectively) so you can spam more Slapsticks.

- In the French translation of The Battle Cats, Hot Spring Reception and Revival of Origin share the same name: "Retour aux sources". Sources can mean either water springs/sources or causes/origins/roots of something, so depending on the context, the name translates to either "Back to the Roots" or "Back to the Water Sources".
