Iguanidae Ibilujon (超暴獣イビルージョン, Chō Bōjū Ibirūjon, Super Violent Beast Ibilujon) is a Relic/Behemoth variant of Johnnyleon introduced in the Continuation Stages of Hunter's Map IV.
Enemy[]
Iguanidae Ibilujon is essentially a Johnnyleon, but much, much stronger. It has health surpassing Masked Grandmaster Cat, no blind spot, enough damage to OHKO almost any conventional meatshield, a typing that greatly reduces the number of viable counters, and immunity to Wave Attacks, Knockback and Weaken for even fewer crowd-control options, all while attacking from 400 range with Omni Strike that reaches up to 550. Indeed, rather than being a frontline tank like Johnnyleon, Iguanidae Ibilujon starts as an annoying source of ranged damage from behind enemy lines, then acts as a wall to keep cats busy until more enemies come out. Its long range and slower attack rate than Johnnyleon keep it from having any pushing power on its own, but the presence of enemies with knockback abilities like H. Nah or dangerous peons like Sir Rel can cause it to advance very easily. What makes it all the worse is its Counter-Surge ability, which is capable of putting out its extreme damage much further than expected should you include Surge Attackers in your formation.
Strategy[]
Iguanidae Ibilujon's Counter-Surge isn't much of an issue as you can simply avoid using Surge Attackers, denying it the chance to generate any Surges itself.
This enemy's Omni Strike doesn't let many units attack it safely, so you can only use brute force. Awakened Naala, Reborn Warrior Doguemon and Ape Lord Luza are all powerful Anti-Relic/Behemoth Specialists that can withstand its fire while dealing significant damage. Other Behemoth Slayers such as Soap Cat or Courier Cat can help with meatshielding and tanking as well. Awakened Doron is not as helpful as usual due to the Counter-Surge and knockback immunity.
Though often the less preferable option, a handful of units, such as Cyberpunk Cat and King of Destiny Phonoa, can outrange its Omni Strike and whittle it safely. Such units however should still be chosen with Iguanidae Ibiujon's support in mind, as otherwise, they can still advance virtually unopposed thanks to its massive health.
Because of Iguanidae Ibilujon's rapid attack rate, you'll have to keep your meatshield spam up, or abuse the likes of "Research" Effect UP Combo-boosted Boulder Cat to ensure it rarely if ever gets to push.

Trivia[]
- Iguanidae is a family of reptiles that consists of iguanas, various other lizards and their ancestors.
- Contrary to its name, Iguanidae Ibilujon's head, eyes, limbs and tail resemble those of chameleons, which have their own family, Chamaeleonidae. Furthermore, iguanas are herbivores whereas chameleons primarily eat insects, which would make more sense for a creature that was expected to exterminate pests.
- Iguanidae Ibilujon is a reference to Deviljho from Monster Hunter, as indicated by its violent and nomadic nature, voracious appetite, level of threat to the ecosystem, green coloration, spikes, tail shape, gaping, drooling mouth, and how it bites down on cats as opposed to using its tongue like Johnnyleon. The faint smoke that appears when Ibilujon bites down is a reference to Deviljho's signature Dragon Breath attack.
- Ibilujon's name is derived from Ibirujo, the Japanese name of Deviljho; Johnnyleon; and possibly irūjon, a Japanese pronunciation of "illusion" (referring to how chameleons change their color based on their mood).
- As the ancestor of all invasive species, Iguanidae Ibilujon may have been inspired by the Jackson's chameleon or the veiled chameleon, both of which are typically green and are invasive to Hawaii.
- The fact that it was expected to exterminate pests may be indirectly referencing mongooses, which were introduced to Hawaii in the 19th century to control rat populations, but failed at their job and became an invasive threat to the ecosystem.
- It may also be a subtle pun: another term for invasive species is "alien species", and Johnnyleon, whom Iguanidae Ibilujon is a variant of, is an Alien enemy.
- It is the first and only enemy to have debuted in an Enigma Stage.
- It has the highest health of all Behemoth enemies.
