- Not to be confused with Heavenly Tower or the Citadels. For the removed Cat Combo with a similar name, see Infernal Power (Removed Combo)
The Infernal Tower (異界にゃんこ塔, Ikai Nyanko Tō, Otherworldly Cat Tower) is an event added in the Version 11.0 Update, with the extension of floors 31 - 40 added in Version 11.8., and the extensions of floor 41 - 50 added in Version 13.0. It has the same mechanics and similar stages to the Heavenly Tower, but is much more challenging, with a strong focus on Aku and Relic enemies. To access the Infernal Tower, the player must have cleared Floor 40 of the Heavenly Tower.
Overview[]
About the Tower[]
The Infernal Tower contains 50 stages, called Floors (階, Kai), with Cyclones, Enemy Cats, and even event enemies from monthly and annual events. After completing a floor for the first time, the player will receive rewards including Catseyes, Catfruit, Catamins, and Materials. The True Forms of Hermit Cat, Masked Yulala, and Master Uril are rewarded on the 30th Floor, 40th Floor, and 50th floor via the Catnip Challenges feature. Floor 30 is also the only source of Gold Catfruit Seeds as of 13.7.

Recommendations[]
- Due to the Aku Altar in Floor 30, it's recommended that at least 30 stages of The Aku Realms have been cleared before attempting it.
- Spam to win works for most of the early stages.
- Most of the stages can't be cheesed, including Floor 30.
- Completing the entire tower grants 36 Catseyes, 51 Catamins, 60 Materials, 1 Gold Catfruit, 30 Cat CPUs (Equivalent to 15 Gold CPUs), 6 Dark Cateyes and 3 rare Catfruit seeds (1 Gold and 2 Elder, Aku or Epic), making it worth the effort to go through the tower every time it appears even if already completed once.
Recommended Cats[]
A list of Cats the player should have in possession to go through all 50 floors.
Normal Cats[]
Eraser Cat and Island Cat should be around level 20+50 by this point. Other useful Normal Cats include King Dragon Cat and maybe Macho Leg Cat.
Special Cats[]
Aside from Cat Combo units, Dark Lazer with Talents can excel on several floors. Additionally, Talented Dancer Cat can help in Floor 30 with his strong stats and complete Wave Immunity. Many of the Legend Cats are obviously important, including Awakened Bahamut, Idi:N2, Elder Mask Doron and, if there are no alternatives, Awakened Ururun.
Rare Cats[]
Some excellent Rare Cats include Cyborg Cat, Ramen Cat, Cameraman Cat, Jiangshi Cat, Catasaurus, Green Shell Cat, Jellycat, Boulder Cat, Teacher BearCat's forms and Courier Cat.
Super Rare Cats[]
Manic Eraser Cat and Manic Island Cat should be at least level 30; 40 is even better. Beyond that, Can Can Cat, Roe Cat, Cyberpunk Cat, Fishman Cat, Pizza Cat, Housewife Cat, Slapstick Cats, Seafarer Cat, Manic King Dragon and Bullet Train Cat are great as always, and Catyphoon is one of the best units to bring to the Metal stages.
Uber Rare Cats[]
- Unsurprisingly, Cats in the Cradle, Lasvoss Reborn, Greater Balrog Cat and UBERFEST and EPICFEST Ubers are great counters to many of these stages.
- Immortal Yukimura and Immortal Keiji also work wonders here, especially in Floor 24.
- Several of the Ultra Souls are useful to have, especially Kasa Jizo and the Peach Devils. Likewise, due to their many forms, several Dark Heroes can be used to counter multiple stages.
- Almighty Chronos, Almighty Amaterasu, and Radiant Aphrodite are the best choices from The Almighties.
Boss Skip/Speedrun[]
- Floor 25: As with the original, Heavy Assault C.A.T. boss fight and Berserkory spawn on a timer, so they can be skipped by using Awakened Bahamut Cat and other high speed/DPS units like Can Can Cat or Maglev Cat reach and destroy the enemy base early. More firepower, Combos or a Wave Shield would also be needed for obvious reasons.
- Floor 40: With attack combos, extremely precise timings on Idi:N, preferably with the support of Doron and many other units, it is possible to chain Yulala and kill him before the peons become too disruptive.
Checkpoint System[]
Clearing certain floors will allow the player to start Infernal Tower further than usual on subsequent appearances:
- Floor 20 lets you start on Floor 11 on the following appearance.
- Floor 30 lets you start on Floor 21 on the following appearance.
- Floor 40 lets you start on Floor 31 on the following appearance.
- Floor 50 lets you start on Floor 41 on the following appearance

Trivia[]
- Since the Heavenly Tower references Korin Tower from Dragon Ball, the Infernal Tower may be based off of Chocolay Tower - a darker, more sinister counterpart of Korin Tower.
- The randomized reward descriptions are bugged and will only every display the default type (they'll always be Bricks for materials, Special Catseyes for catseyes, Catamin A for Catamins, and Elder Catfruit Seed for Elder/Aku/Epic Seeds), regardless of which was actually given.
