Strategy[]

With a nasty Aku Altar and stronger threats, your first priority is to get rid of the unit cap to have an easier time. There's almost no income on the stage, so a Rich Cat is advisable at the start.

Recommended Units[]

  • Wave Immune attackers/meatshields:
    • Talented Dread Pirate Catley is probably the most accessible option for most players.
    • Talented Li'l Mohawk Cat is another easy to obtain option that also bears a helpful research Combo when paired with Catasaurus.
    • Gold Cat's True Form costs one Gold and three Aku Catfruits. In exchange, he becomes a second L'il Mohawk with improved speed and recovery time.
    • Stone Cat, when boosted by research combos, can hold the frontline reasonably well and create a near-impenetrable defense when aided by other meatshields. It comes from a a relatively easy advent stage, too.
    • Tea Master Cat is strong against Relics and Wave Immune, but has a relatively long cooldown and comes from a nasty advent stage.
    • Mushroom Cat can be used as an alternative. It has less range and also a long cooldown as well as a tedious evolution requirement of Behemoth Stones, but is definitely a valid one when aided by research combos too.
    • Talented Dancer can be of great use here, with his Wave Immunity and high damage at medium range.
  • Anti-Relics:
    • Doron's Surges can do a little chip damage, but the most important aspect is the Freeze, stopping the boss for several seconds (and knocking it back in True Form) for you to catch your breath and kill off the peons. Doron's also extremely durable, ensuring he will never die before he unleashes his attack.
    • Idi, when timed and supported well, can deal fairly significant amounts of damage to the boss and is arguably the best rusher you could have here.
    • Naala outranges the boss, while its Anti-Relic abilities and Wave Immunity can be put to good use and its LD hits the boss even if peons get in the way. Of course, it goes without saying you'll have to deal with the peons as well.
  • Ubers are dependent on what you have. Wave Shields are the most useful, expanding your selection of possible units if they can outrange the boss. Other Wave Immune Ubers, provided they outrange the enemies here, are likewise welcome, such as Shishilan Pasalan and Keiji.
