Keiji Claus (Uber Rare Cat)

Keiji Claus is an Uber Rare Cat introduced in version 10.1 that can be unlocked by playing the Rare Cat Capsule during the Xmas Gals Gacha Event. Version 11.0 added a True Form that targets Aku enemies and activates his Strengthen sooner.

Strategy/Usage

Similarly to Maeda Keiji, this unit can be used as either a tank against its trait or as a generalist midranger. Keiji Claus, however, despite not being as strong as Immortal Keiji, he still has some advantages in form of better range, pre-TF stats and activating his Strengthen ability earlier than pre-TF Maeda Keiji.

Unlike Maeda, however, this unit faces competition as a tank, mainly from a Talented Ultimate Bondage Cat and Roe Cat. This restricts its usage further, making Keiji Claus an unnecessary addition in most cases, although it can still help in wave centered stages or as a replacement for the two aforementioned units if they haven't been obtained yet.

Even then, as a generalist, when compared to Immortal Keiji, their health is lower and, despite having the same damage as them, due to their Strengthen activating at 40%, not 50%, the overall generalist value is still lower, despite being viable still.

True Form

True Form added Aku targeting and increases his strengthen threshold, giving him a niche that not a lot of units have, being able to tank and dish out damage to Akus such as Aku Doge, Sinner Snache, and other peons. He's not the best at dealing with Cerberus Kids due to their Freeze effect, which Maeda Christmas DX does not have immunity to. He also lacks the ability to Shield Pierce, making him reliant on support to break the shields of enemies such as Le'Behemoth and Deathkory.

Appearance

• Normal Form: Maeda Keiji dressed as Santa. The tree on their head is replaced or covered by a Santa hat and the weapon he attacks with by a bag (implied to be) full of gifts.
• Evolved Form: Similarly to Wargod Keiji, it has a tree on its head, this time a Christmas tree, of course, with the Santa hat on top. Attacks with a candy cane.
• True Form: Looks exactly the same as his Evolved Form, except the unit is now in color. Keiji is colored yellow, the candy cane is red and white, he wears a frilly pink dress, pink mittens, the Christmas Tree is green with a white garland wrapping around it, decorated with pink and green ornaments, with a pink Santa hat on top.
