Strategy
As this is the 2nd stage of Into the Future, spamming Giraffe Cat/Lion Cat (level 20+10, after completing Empire of Cats) or Crazed Cow Cat/Crazed Giraffe Cat is more than enough to go for a high score.

As one of the earliest Zombie Outbreaks in Into the Future, this will not prove to be too difficult in Chapters 1 & 2. Li'l Zyclone debuts here in Chapter 3.

Strategy
Chapter 1
Not too hard of a stage. Make sure the Zombie enemies burrow early so they don't get right up to your base. Get your anti-Alien units ready for the main threats and try to keep units flowing so that you don't get caught off guard by more burrowing zombies.
All in all, not a terribly tough stage but any Zombie Killers and anti-alien units will be super helpful.
Rich cat and Sniper Cat are highly recommended to smooth out what little amount of early game you get. This will allow you to save up for at least one hard hitting uber to shut down the early wave of peons. If you have Zombie Killer super rares like Piledriver Cat or Vaulter Cat you should use them as well if their levels are high enough.

Chapter 3
Bring as many anti-Zombie units as possible and maybe even 5 meatshields. Everything in this stage does a massive amount of damage so having more cheap meatshields (Mohawk, Manic Mohawk, Gato Amigo) will be better than fewer more powerful meatshields (i.e. Ramen, Cameraman, etc.) due to money efficiency. Li'l Zyclone does very little damage per hit by comparison but his job is just to soak up meatshields and block for his longer -ranged allies.
Weedwacker Cat is a god-send on this stage because of the near perma-freeze you will achieve on Li'l Zyclone and Zomboe when you have a couple of them stacked up. Li'l Zyclone is probably the easiest part of the stage in the grand scheme of things. If you survive the initial wave AND survive the boss shockwave with units ready to spawn then it shouldn't be too tough. You can't really do the Awakened Bahamut rush strategy on this stage due to the Cyberhorn and the massive amount of Shibalien that spawn with him. With treasures and many Zombie Killer units you should have little trouble after the initial lineup. Once the Li'l Zyclone is down for good, finish off the Cyberhorn and Shibaliens for the victory.
Trivia
- Prior to version 11.5, the Zigge trios in Ch.2 and 3's Zombie Outbreaks were set to spawn between 30 and 20 seconds instead of just 30. It didn't work properly because the maximum time was lower than the minimum, so in practice nothing changed.
