Strategy/Usage[]
Lasvoss' unparalleled attack force at medium range is his main driving factor when it comes to his usage. At level 30, a strengthened Lasvoss can deal almost 460k damage with his Savage Blow; however, not only is this monstrous power fueled by chance, but Lasvoss' low survivability and range makes him impractical to use in most circumstances as he will frequently get hit and die without doing much, greatly weakening his capability as a generalist while still wasting your resources.
Lasvoss can counter a decent amount of enemies thanks to his immunity to Wave Attacks and almost all debuffs, including Kory, Berserkory, Dober P.D and even Hermit Cat, as he can stand away from their line of fire and still deal heavy damage when supported properly. Besides those few instances, Lasvoss is can be considered a Bahamut Cat that trades range for overall damage.
Lasvoss is also in one of the best "Research" Effect UP Combos in the game, Bad Guys, which helps for cats whose recharge times are just shy of being meatshield-caliber, such as Rocker Cat or Mer-Cat and even Radical Cat; and on the plus side, you also get to use Lasvoss alongside them.
Lasvoss' main niche is to land a single hit on a threatening enemy, either completely eliminating it, or doing a considerable chunk into it's health. You shouldn't expect Lasvoss to land more than a few hits in his lifespan, as his time-between attacks is incredibly long, and his range and survivability are pretty mediocre.
True Form[]
Lasvoss' True Form is a significant upgrade, doubling his HP and increasing his base damage by 50%, as well as giving him more immunities. While his Strengthen now triggers at 30% HP instead of 1% HP, he still cannot reliably make use of it as it is not tied to a knockback, and the only knockback that happens after this Strengthen starts is when he survives a lethal strike. His new immunities are the most important improvements, granting him immunity to Toxic and Surge Attacks. Both effects are notoriously rare to find counters to, granting him a niche against many dangerous enemies including but not limited to: St. Dober, the Surge Base, Gobble, Zollow, Master Uril, Kappy Jr. and Aftermath enemies. However, these benefits come with a steep Catfruit cost, requiring ten Epic Seeds, one Elder Catfruit and one Gold Catfruit, making this form a high cost, high reward one. If you are in late game then it is highly recommended to evolve Lasvoss, consider the fact that in late game, most of the enemies are going to be so buffed that you might just need some nuking power. But make sure you use him correctly to redeem his cost.
Talents[]
With Talents, Lasvoss gains the usual Defense/Attack buffs, Colossus Slayer, Move Speed Up and Recover Speed Up. The stat talents are nothing special, but may be worth investing if you have a lot of NP and have sufficiently boosted him, as Lasvoss is in fact a stat-based unit. Colossus Slayer is by far the most notable one, giving an otherwise unspecialized unit a niche to work with. As a midranger, Lasvoss is unable to fight most Colossal threats directly despite his relatively low cooldown for an Uber, as Colossus enemies often boast extreme stats with high range and sometimes omnistrike, so unless he gets the range advantage, he cannot reliably deal high damage and more often than not relies on timing in order to leave any impact, not to mention he remains a huge resource drain; however, if you do manage to set up an attack, the rewards will be great. Move Speed Up makes it easier for Lasvoss to approach enemies, making it far easier for him to land an attack. However; it does make Lasvoss' survivability worse. Recover Speed Up is completely useless, as Lasvoss' cooldown is just too long, despite having a fast recharge compared to other Uber rares, and his cost too expensive for it to make a difference.

- Normal Form: A cat head with dark hair and a beard with two horns growing from his head. Hovers across the ground with two disconnected hands next to him. The hands have claws with eyes in their palms. Attacks by creating a purple orb, before making it explode.
- Evolved Form: The head and hands are now attached to a monstrous body, having a large, skeletal chest with an eye embedded in the center, and spiked pauldrons along the shoulders. He has a shell-like growth made of writhing black tentacles behind him, with multiple demonic faces seemingly stuck in it. He still has no lower body, though.
- True Form: The palette darkened with the giant mouth beneath the chest agape. Dons much larger, and root-like wings with a huge spike on the backside. The demonic faces now have disproportionately huge eyes. His attack animation is very similar to before, except the tentacles are replaced with hands sticking out of the ground.

Trivia[]
- While Lasvoss's name is a corruption of "last boss", it also sounds similar to Lavos, the final boss of Chrono Trigger.
- It also shares many similarities to Lavos in his design, suggesting that it was one of, if not the main inspiration.
- Lasvoss' designs are based on common features of final bosses in RPGs: his Normal Form resembles "floating head and hands" bosses such as the final form of Mortamor from Dragon Quest, while Ultimate Lasvoss resembles Final Fantasy V's final boss, Neo Exdeath.
- In the event poster for The Dynamites, Lasvoss is accompanied by the phrase, "My servant, I grant thee rule over 1/3 of this world!" This is a reference to part of a quote from the main antagonist of the original Dragon Quest, the Dragonlord: "Take thy rightful place at my side! Do so, and I will grant unto thee dominion over half the world!"
- Like Nobilan Pasalan and Li'l Valkyrie, Lasvoss' Curse Immunity is useless due to his lack of any anti-trait abilities.
- Lasvoss Reborn is the only True Form in the game to require more than one Epic Catfruit Seed.
- The heroes referenced in his descriptions are likely Cat Clan Heroes.
