Li'l Gross Cat (Special Cat)

Li'l Gross Cat is a Special Cat that was added in Version 4.5 and can be unlocked by playing the Event Capsule. True Form added in Version 5.10 grants improved health and attack power, a chance to knockback Alien enemies and, as of Version 7.3, Barrier Breaker. Talents were added in Version 10.9.

Strategy/Usage

Normal/Evolved Form

Due to being the Li'l version of a Normal Cat, this unit suffers from a severe lack of good basic stats, making him underperform greatly in his field. For this reason, usage of Li'l Gross Cat prior to unlocking his True Form is not recommended.

True Form

Li'l Macho Legs Cat becomes a good stackable attacker for 4-Crown stages. It has enough health to be able to take some decently strong hits and enough attack power to hold its own against some enemies. Along with the added general use, the 30% knockback chance against Aliens is a powerful asset in the right situation. If you can't keep back Aliens from your base, Li'l Macho Legs Cat is a viable no-gacha option.

His Barrier Breaker ability increases his usage greatly in Cats of the Cosmos and late Legend Stages, allowing him to be relied upon for breaking the few Barriers that can't easily be destroyed by normal attacks. Cats of the Cosmos features some stages with high-health barriers and a Special Only restriction, where he will be a major help, but Loincloth Cat may be better at exclusively breaking barriers due to range and stackability.

Despite all of this, Li'l Macho Legs still has shorter range and weaker health and attack power than the regular Macho Leg Cat, so he doesn't work well as a substitute.

Talents

With this talents this cat can finally differentiate himself from his Manic and Original counterparts of Macho Leg Cat and Manic Macho Legs, particularly due to his Shield Piercing talent. At max level this cat gains a 30% chance to pierce Aku Shields, being one of the only two easily obtainable shield piercing cats before beating the Aku Cyclone, the other one being Li'l Jamiera Cat. Though even with these merits, Li'l Macho Legs' long time between attacks, awful range and survivability doesn't justify the steep cost of obtaining this talent, even if it recharges faster than other Shield Piercers, not to mention you can simply brute force your way into beating Aku Cyclone. Don't invest in this talent, as with the introduction of Cat Researcher, Barrel Cat and Supercar Cat, Li'l Macho Legs simply cannot compete due to their better matchups against shielded Aku.

The curse resist talent is unnecessary because Relic enemies will destroy this guy in the blink of an eye, making this talent a huge waste of NP. The Attack Up talent is helpful but unnecessary because you are not using this guy for his DPS in most cases, and the Health Up talent is also helpful but also unnecessary because he will again still die fairly quickly if enemies get to him. Lastly, you absolutely should not get the knockback chance up as knocking back Aliens is generally not a good idea, due to the sheer abundance of Alien backliners that will tear your army to shreds by pushing your backliners into their range.

• True Form: Li'l Sexy Legs Cat has toughened up! Now close to the size of Macho Leg Cat and greatly resembles him. Has a bandage on his cheek instead of popping veins.

• Unlike Gross Cat and Crazed Gross Cat, Li'l Gross Cat, even in True Form, does not always work well with "upper body" cats such as Salon Cat and Actress Cat due to its smaller size and lower range.
