Li'l Zyclone (ミニアンデッドサイクロン, Mini Andeddo Saikuron, Mini Undead Cyclone) is a Zombie enemy and variant of Zyclone that appears in the Zombie Outbreaks of Into the Future Chapter 3 and Cats of the Cosmos, as well as Legend Stages.
Enemy[]
Contrary to most other Cyclone variants inflicting extremely high damage and DPS, Li'l Zyclone acts more as a barrier to cut off the player's meatshield supply. In order to accomplish this, he sports high health, decent movement speed, one knockback and a long burrow distance, as well as quickly reviving with 100% HP once.
Strategy[]
With 333,333 health, this little guy is very good at his job, cutting off your supply of meatshields by burrowing behind your main group of cats with a crazy burrow distance of 1,250. He isn't a threat alone due to his relatively low damage and range.
The absolute best way to deal with Li'l Zyclone is to either stop his burrow with the regular Cat Cannon or force him to the surface with Holy Blast. If that is not possible, you will usually want to burst him down as quickly as possible to prevent the other enemies from abusing the limited meatshields for too long. Cadaver BearCat is the optimal choice, but Jellycat and Li'l Flying Cat work too. In an emergency, Awakened Bahamut Cat can be used, but don't spawn him without some thought.
Additionally, Li'l Zyclone's long burrow distance can cause him to go straight up to your base. In this case, Heavyweight Cat, Power Piledriver Cat and 10 Years on a Stone Cat are ideal for pushing him off.
Unless a Zombie Killer lands the finishing blow, he will respawn with full health one time. If a Zombie Killer unit did not kill him, note that he is only dead for less than 5 seconds so you may or may not get lucky by having your faster units walk through the puddle, but slower units probably won't be able to get past it before he revives. If some of your units don't get past the puddle, just rinse and repeat.
If powerful Long Distance units are owned, especially anti-Zombie ones, such as Vaulter Cat, Li'l Zyclone can be used as a stepping stone to kill other threats, such as the Cadaver Bears in Necro Frontier.
