Li'l Valkyrie (Uber Rare Cat)

Li'l Valkyrie is an Uber Rare Cat added in Version 7.2 that can be unlocked by playing the Rare Cat Capsule during a special variation of Best of the Best released for BCTW and BCEN's 3rd anniversary and BCJP's 6th anniversary, which contains her instead of Shadow Gao or during a special UBERFEST released early in the year. She is also obtainable as a free unit for those who purchase the Nintendo Switch Southeast Asia Version as part of the Package Version Bonus.

Strategy/Usage

This unit is mostly used as a generalist or as a quick, high DPS unit. She has added abilities that make her better against Zombies, wave attackers, status-inflicting enemies and Starred Aliens. She acts almost as though she were Awakened Bahamut but with with less DPS and speed, in exchange for more range and a faster recharge, which means she can be stacked in stages where she isn't outranged.

Her high damage and DPS, medium range and high speed make her a great suicide bomber to deal insane damage and then die, similar to Yukimura. However, she gets hit easily because of her movement speed. Lengthy foreswing (1.06 seconds) can also be a problem.

She is best on stages where she can get inside the enemies' blind spot, so she can take advantage of her Zombie Killer/high DPS/wave immunity. Note that this unit has a hard time surviving for long, due to low health, range and knockbacks, but also because of her excessive speed and immunity to abilities that would let her reposition, being Knockback and Warp.

Appearance

• Normal Form: A miniature version of True Valkyrie Cat, with the Heavenly Spear Meownir being carried by cherubs.
• (BCTW) Evolved Form: Now in a traditional Chinese style.
• (BCJP) Evolved Form: Same with BCTW (a traditional Chinese style).
• (BCEN) Evolved Form: She and her guardian angels now have a Native American outfit while the Heavenly Meownir has its hilt changed to look totem-like.
• (BCKR) Evolved Form: She now wears a traditional Korean dress and while Meownir has a tiger design.

Trivia

• Ironically, Li'l Valkyrie is stronger than her older sister in all aspects except range.
• Li'l Valkyrie is tied with Gothic Mitama for the Cat Unit with the fourth-most abilities in the game, behind Lasvoss Reborn and Elder Mask Doron in second, and Iz the Lady of Mourning in first.
• Like Nobilan Pasalan and Lasvoss, Li'l Valkyrie's immunity to Curse is useless due to her lacking a trait-specific ability.
• Wind Dancer Valkyrie is one of the only units whose appearance differs between regional versions, the others being Eraser Cat, Manic Eraser Cat, Sports Day Cat, Dancing Flasher Cat and Dark Rider Valkyrie.
• Li'l Valkyrie's rarity is different in The Battle Cats Unite, being labeled as a Special cat instead of an Uber Rare, but costing just as much as an Uber.
• She, Nekondo, Baozi Cat, Crazed Baozi Cat, and Li'l Valkyrie Dark are part of a version exclusive in The Battle Cats Unite, being available to the Southeast Asia version of the game.
  • She is obtainable in the Japanese version, however, it can only be unlocked via save editing and thus cannot be obtained through natural means.
