Strategy[]

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: Crazy Hearts, Thaumaturge Cat, Can Can Cat (40, Move Speed Up Talent 10), Bullet Train Cat, Supercat, Awakened Bahamut Cat or Idi:N2

Items: Rich Cat (optional)

At the start, send out one Manic Mohawk Cat to make the Doge Base attack. When the wave is gone, start spamming everything, including Supercat. When you can, spawn A. Bahamut. When Oldhorn spawns, your Thaumaturges, Can Cans, and Bahamut/Idi:N2 should kill him fast. If you are using Idi:N2, he should die very quickly. Then, just destroy the base.

Strategy 2[]

Lineup: Manic Eraser Cat, Eraser Cat, Manic Mohawk Cat, Future Cat, Rodeo Cat, Jellycat, Supercat, Slapstick Cats, Can Can Cat, Octopus Cat

Recommended Talents: Rodeo's Target Relic, Slapsticks' Weaken, Octopus' Curse Immunity, Can Can's Extra Money

Send out Manic Mohawk to trigger the Doge Base, and then lure the 2 Celeboodles and kill them with Can Can. Then, you just have to kill Oldhorn with Jellycat, Can Can Cat, and Slapstick Cats. Use Rodeo to slow him momentarily. Try to make Gardeneel Bros. warp Jellycat forward, because Jellycat can kill them with 2 waves. If you're using Future Cat, Sir Rel shouldn't even have a chance to hit Jellycat when warped if Future gets warped as well, because of her massive effective HP. When cats get warped forward and the Doge Base is triggered, make sure to send out Supercat so all your stuff doesn't die. Once Oldhorn dies, the base is free to be destroyed.

Trivia[]

  • Like all Unearthed Artifacts stages, Loser's Complaint's Japanese name references an idiom. In this case, the name Maken no Tōboe (魔犬の遠吠え, "Demon Dog's Howl") is a play on the idiom makeinu no tōboe, (負け犬の遠吠え, "Loser Dog's Howl"), which refers to when a loser in a fight refuses to admit defeat behind their opponent's back.
