Template:EnemiesAppearing Lots O' Lion (Deadly) is a special stage available on the 15th and the 27th of every month if the player has previously completed all Crazed Cat Stages. In The Battle Cats Unite!, it appears every Wednesday. This is a No Continues stage.

Battleground[]

Strategy[]

This is just a beefed-up version of Head Shaker (Insane), and as such the general strategy remains the same: stall the first Manic Lion Cat until your wallet is full, hit the enemy base, lure the Lions close, then start spamming everything you have, be it meatshields or Area Attackers. If the stack grows sufficiently you can accumulate enough DPS to quickly cripple the Manic Lions and win the stage.

The Manic Lion Cats are still single-target and outranged by almost every cat, so you're putting yourself at a disadvantage if you're not using Awakened Bahamut Cat and Holy Valkyrie Cat. Of course, they still have to be protected well and serve as support instead of your main damage source.

Recommended Units[]

  • Spammable Area Attackers such as Cameraman Cat, Cyborg Cat, Chill Cat and the Manic Flying Cat should form the core of your offense. Large stacks of them will deal enough damage to turn the battle in your favor.
  • Target Only units, particularly Warlock and Pierre can stack and one-shot the base should you have them. Calculate how many you need to stack before trying the stage, however; and don't be afraid to meatshield as much as you need to to protect them from the initial Manic Lion.
  • Unsurprisingly, many EPICFEST exclusive units can make this stage much easier due to being catered specifically against traitless enemies. However, they have their own issues and are not meant to be used alone. Garu is only able to tank for a little while without much direct damage, Kasli, D'arktanyan and Dark Mitama have blindspots that must be factored in, Shadow Gao's freeze has little uptime and won't stop the lions from pushing, while Iz doesn't have much range to begin with.
  • Healer Cat CC, Headmaster Cat Jobs, Macho Suntan Cat, Sweet Bro Cats, Macho Glass Cat, Haniwa Cat and Vendor Cat and Kitten are able to provide adequate defense with their abilities, though in some cases it may be better to add another attacker instead as they all have a major disadvantage that must be accounted for.
    • If you decide to use Healer or Headmaster Cat Jobs, be wary; they both have extremely low survivability and need their own respective Combos; Pumpkinpants & Gross!!! for Healer and Power of Darkness for Headmaster. Adding to this is a second layer of luck for Headmaster; you may have to try again for his Surges to spawn on the Manic Lions in the right place.

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: Mohawk Cat, Manic Mohawk Cat, Eraser Cat, Manic Eraser Cat, Manic Flying Cat, Paris Cat, Cameraman Cat, Awakened Bahamut Cat, Holy Valkyrie Cat

Cannon: Slow Beam or Thunderbolt

Items: Rich Cat Cat CPU

Notes:

  • Manic units can be replaced with evolved forms.
  • Manic Flying, Paris, and Cameraman are not strictly necessary, though recommended. They can be replaced with stackable attackers.
  • Valkyrie is replaceable.
  • Rich cat is not required but does speed up the stalling process.

Note that this is a very-fast paced stage, so being unprepared can lead to a quick defeat. Start spamming Eraser Cats and Crazed Wall Cats immediately, and release one spammable area attacker as soon as you can. The first Manic Lion Cat will then come out of the base with a boss shockwave. When all the Ginger Snaches are dead, let your attacker die to the Manic Lion, then spam more meatshields before it gets to your base (the timing is precise so be careful). Keep spamming until you max out your worker cat and build up enough money. Alternatively, if you use a Rich Cat, you can wait until the Ginger Snaches are close to your base before stalling, and release your attacker(s) when the Manic Lion is released so you don't have to sacrifice your attacker and time your meatshields. Either way, you should be able to get enough money, and can attack the enemy base.

When the enemy base reaches 1,415,700 HP (99%), many Manic Lion Cats will come out. Wait until all your frontline units have been defeated and the Manic Lions are close enough to your base, then release every unit except for Awakened Bahamut. You will need a large stack of Area Attackers to defeat the Manic Lions. Keep spamming, release Awakened Bahamut, and fire the Cat Cannon right after. This part of the stage requires timing, so make sure you do not release Bahamut too early or too late. After that, turn on the Cat CPU and watch the magic happen. You must have enough meatshields to ensure that Bahamut does not die before hitting the base; then they will ideally build up and hit the Cat Limit. Eventually, the Manic Lion Cat waves will die down to an acceptable condition where you should not have any trouble handling them.

Strategy 2 (Spam)[]

Lineup: Cameraman Cat, Paris Cat, Awakened Bahamut Cat

Notes:

  • Rich cat and cat cpu is needed for this strategy
  • The first six-eight slots should be used for meatshields
  • Any epic-fest exclusive uber is owned should be brought

Stall the snaches and the first manic lion by spamming your numerous meatshields, deploy cameraman cats to attack manic lion, after the first Knockback of the manic lion, stop sending out cameraman and your crazed meatshields. This will ensure when the first lion dies, your slow cats have a long distance to travel and you will have more time to save up.

When your cats reach the base, start spamming everything, when the lions appear and meet your wave of cats, only turn on the CPU (and thus sending out A. Bahamut and any other uber you have) when the lions stop pushing that hard, at around the middle of the stage.

Now watch as the 40 manic lions battle your 50 meatshields and area attackers, if all goes well, your battle will last two minutes or so and you will start to dissolve the stalemate and push towards the enemy base.

Trivia[]

  • Lots O' Lion's Japanese name, Shishi Ruirui (獅子累々, "Lion Accumulation"), shares a pronunciation with the idiom "shishi ruirui" (死屍累々, "lots of dead bodies overlap" or literally "dead body accumulation"); the joke is that the stage name spells Shishi as 獅子 (lion) instead of 死屍 (dead body).
