Love, Metal Hippoe (にゃんチケ★チャンス! - 恋のメタカバ 上級, Nyan chike ★ chansu! - Koi no metakaba jōkyū, Nyan Ticket ★ Chance! - Love of Metal Hippo (Hard)) is one of the 3 special stages where the player can get a Silver Ticket upon clearing. This stage features Metal Hippoe, an enemy unit which appears in Stories of Legend.
Battleground
Three Hippoe will be spawned at the very start of the stage.
Metal Hippoe appears as a boss about 5 times (first at 989,999 base health, then 899,999, 799,999, and etc. until around 500,000 - 425,000, is where he will stop spawning.)
Those Guys are spawned at a very slow rate throughout the stage.
Schedule
- Mondays at 7:00am-8:00am and 8:00pm-9:00pm
- Tuesdays at 11:00am-12:00pm and 11:00pm-12:00am
- Wednesdays at 8:00am-9:00am and 4:00pm-5:00pm
- Thursdays at 1:00pm-2:00pm and 11:00pm-12:00am
- Fridays at 8:00am-9:00am and 10:00pm-11:00pm
- Saturdays at 1:00pm-2:00pm and 9:00pm-10:00pm
- Sundays at 11:00am-12:00pm and 10:00pm-11:00pm
Strategies
Since Metal Hippoe only takes 1 damage per hit, cats with fast attack speed are useful.
This stage is very easy; all that is needed is Cow/Giraffe Cat or Crazed Cow/Giraffe/Manic Lion Cat. Simply spam it until completion. Critical hitting cats can help but are not essential for this stage.
Another strategy for this stage is pretty cheesy you only need 5-7 cats (and CPU if you're lazy). the five necessary cats are going to be Cat Mohawk Cat, Cat Eraser Cat, Miss MONEKO, Cat Sitter Jurassic cat sitter/Catasaurus, Legs Cat Macho Legs Cat, (Island Cat, and any strong uber to kill the base, optional). What you want to do is put down one Macho Legs and level up your wallet. Once you have done this just go to town with your critical hitters and meat shields and then you just win.
A third strategy is to use lumbercat with ninja as a meatshield. Each metal hippoe will die very quickly after it comes out. You can also send out damage dealers to destroy the base quicker.
You could also just spam Jurassic Cats indefinitely, that usually works too.
OR you could spam whatever cat you have because the Metal Hippoe does 200 damage only. If you want to afk bring cat cpu and 5 random cheap cats, you will win.
Speedrun:
A super quick way to beat this stage is:
Fast Hitting Cats/Critical Hitters, and super high damage cats.
First, send out you fast hitters/critical hitters, and let them destroy the Metal Hippoes.
Then, once the base is at around 550,000 health, send out your super high damage cats to annihilate the base.
You can also use W&P with Catornado for a easy win with some money up combos.
