Machu Picchu is the 34th stage in Into the Future. Kroxo debuts here in Chapter 1, and Elder Sloth in Chapter 3.

Chapters 1 & 2[]

Start by stalling the enemies with meatshields to save up cash. Send out some AoE attackers to kill the peons once you're ready, and start spawning Dragon Cats and other heavy hitters. If you have any anti-Alien units such as Gross Cat's True Form, definitely bring them.

Chapter 3[]

Make sure that there is always something in range of the Elder Sloth (preferably a meatshield) so its speed doesn't make the best of you. Take advantage of Elder Sloth's long time between attacks to put status effects on it to make it easier. Use tanks (such as Jamiera Cat) or fast attackers to kill the Elder Sloth. Make sure you have most of the anti-Alien Treasures before attempting this stage!

Strategy[]

Chapter 1[]

Zory and Maawth are your biggest threats here. Zory pops up right behind your meatshields to beat up your main attackers while Maawth keeps your meatshields busy and may continuously freeze your units. Any anti-Zombie units are welcome here and without them, you will have to brute force your way through the Zories. Zackie Peng isn't too big of an issue because of its Single Target, bringing plenty of meatshields is enough.

Chapter 2[]

Getting a few Worker Cat levels at the start is recommended, but don't stall for too long as your units may end up bypassing the Zombies and triggering the base before you're ready.

Once again, Zory is a big problem, but now you have another issue to deal with: Cyberhorn. The Cyberhorn attacks fast and has a lot of health. Like, a LOT... even while having almost all of the anti-Alien Treasures unlocked. You will have to take it out before it reaches your base or else it will absolutely shred it.

Chapter 3[]

The Thrillerz will spawn very early so send out fast cats to make them burrow ASAP. Then protect the base with your meatshields and cheap Zombie Killers until you can spawn a heavy hitter. Make sure you only spawn them when you're ready because after the single Otta at the 1 minute mark, that's all the farming you'll get to do until your team marches down and punches the base a couple times.

Once the base reaches 90%, Elder Sloth and his support gorillas spawn, knocking you back, and the Zories are going to mess up your backlines once again after their burrow. Having Omni Strike units or getting a Z-Kill in reserve is going to be a lifesaver here.

Elder Sloth by himself is not so bad as he attacks very slowly and even then his attack damage is not really that scary. As long as you have a good amount of anti-Alien treasures and can bring an Alien unit that freezes or knocks back, you can do it no problem.
