This short-ranged enemy is fairly slow, boasts a lot of health and frequently deals extreme damage with an Omni Strike that hits all the way up to 320, with a 20% chance to land a Savage Blow that's guaranteed to nuke or gravely cripple everything it catches. It comes with a moderately durable shield that fully regenerates each time it is knocked back while blocking status effects, so when it gets to push, it and any support can be difficult to stop. Its Surge duplication likewise poses a threat, but ultimately isn't as relevant as its stats and abilities are enough to fully invalidate strategies with such units.

Because of the sheer damage it outputs, Maize Cat and Cactus Cat will not stall it too well alone, as neither can even come close to surviving a Savage Blow. It's better to use cheap, disposable meatshields like Gato Amigo, Kyubey Cat or Jiangshi Cat. TalentedBellydance Cat, Brainwashed Cat and Metal Cat are especially good options, as they'll be able to stall Malevolent Jamiera in spite of its Savage Blows. Cat Researcher is the only non-Uber Rare Shield Piercer that outranges Malevolent Jamiera, so it is likely the best choice.
As most anti-Aku Uber Rare Cats outrange Malevolent Jamiera, almost any of them will be great choices against him, although Yaminora in particular isn't the best choice due to only barely outranging his Omni Strike. Ones that can crowd-control him and nullify his heavy pushing power, such as Hevijak and Summoner Satoru will be especially effective.
