Strategy[]

Ayumi Manbosaki has a very slow attack rate while both Mola King and Baby Mola both have Single Target. As such, they are vulnerable to disposable units who can be easily replaced and deal lots of damage that will accumulate over time. Instead, the main threats are the large Crab swarms that can cover the ranged threats and push with terrifying ease. Using cheap meatshields like Manic Mohawk and Stone are definitely recommended over Erasers and Tankers, as later stages of the Gauntlet feature overbuffed enemies that can cut through any amount of health in a mater of seconds, making durable units completely useless. Likewise, any disposable Anti-Red units that can demolish Crab swarms are also good to bring.

Cyberstacking is an effective (albeit time consuming) way to beat these stages. The strategy is very straightforward: players can use anti-Red tanks and attackers like Roe Cat, Can-Can Cat, and Manic Island Cat to deal with the Crabs, while meatshielding and stacking Cyberpunk Cats to beat the stage. After a while, the waves of Crabs become fewer in numbers and Mola Kings stop spawning, so it is less important to use your anti-Red units. Other helpful units are Cameraman for meatshielding and DPS, Cats in the Cradle to tank around 2 shots from the Manbosaki and deal damage, and Manic Macho Legs or Jelly Cat to clear out the peons. This strategy takes a lot of patience, and you can expect to spend upwards of 7 minutes per stage with this, so a Speed Up is recommended.

An alternative strategy is using Cat God the Great paired with a tanky Uber Rare cat like Divine Kai to halt Ayumi Manbosaki's progression so it is easier to use Cat God's Omni Strike and Knockback abilities to hit the enemies behind the base and use his high damage to destroy it easily on levels 1 to 18. Just make sure to keep a constant stream of meatshields, as Cat God is a sitting duck between attacks and is very easy to kill during that time.

If you want to use a safer version of that strategy, using The 10th Angel is a viable option, as it has more Omni Strike range than Cat God. Be careful if you are thinking of using this strategy however, as The 10th Angel has a about a fifth of the damage of Cat God, and no Knockback ability to keep itself alive, so support from talented Cyberpunk Cat is very necessary. You can also opt to use both Cat God & The 10th Angel in tandem, for more damage and an easier win.

Strategy 1 (Healer Cheese)[]

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: Legs for Days, Gross!!!, Pumpkinpants, Manic Macho Legs 50, Healer Cat CC 30, Mohawk Cat 20+20, Eraser Cat 20+20, Courier Cat 50, Manic Eraser Cat 30, Hermit Cat 30

Cannon: Default

Notes: Requires all Superior Treasures from all Into the Future Chapters for Sky Fruit, exploiting Manbosaki's Floating Trait.

Battle: Immediately deploy Manic Eraser as soon as you can. Once Manbosaki's first attack has ended, spawn Manic Macho Legs, Healer and Courier (Healer needs to be spawned before Courier or it won't get to Manbosaki in time, whereas Manic Macho Legs needs to be spawned first so it could get rid of the peons before Healer gets to Manbosaki). Once these are out, spam your meatshields, and spam Manic Macho Legs, Courier and Hermit whenever you can. Your Manic Erasers should be able to hold off the Crabs long enough for Courier and wave units to easily defeat them while Healer keeps Manbosaki permafrozen. If done right, Courier should be able to destroy the base long before Manbosaki itself.

Strategy 2 (Sudden Death Lv. 1-20)[]

Lineup: Courier Cat 50, Jiangshi 30

Items: Cat CPU (recomended), Speed Up (recomended), Rich Cat (optional).

In the beginning, wait for Manbosaki to spawn before sending out a Jiangshi. After Manbosaki attacks, send out another Jiangshi along with a Courier. You want to time Courier so that he doesn't die to Manbosaki. You want to constantly send out Jiangshi. Slowly upgrade your Rich Cat until it is max. After you have done so, you can turn on Cat CPU and Speed up. Keep in mind that Manbosaki has 6,480,000 health on Sudden Death lv. Max so use this strategy if you are willing to wait, and have ample time.
