Manga Boogie Cat (Switch Special Cat)

Manga Boogie Cat is a Special Cat who was implemented in Patch 1.0.6 in the Nintendo Switch Version of The Battle Cats. He originates from Manya Immortal Nosuke's "Manga! The Battle Cats" and was released as promotional material for the CoroCoro Magazine Monthly April 2024 Issue. Purchasing the issue comes with a special goodies box in which contains a trading card that has a serial code to unlock said unit. As of March 15, 2024, Manga Boogie Cat is only exclusive to the Japanese (JP) version.

Strategy/Usage

Very similar to Boogie Cat in terms of usage. Thanks to its cheap and expendable stats, Manga Boogie Cat can be summoned in masses to take hits in place of other, more important units. This meatshield role is quite valuable, if not for the wide selection of units able to perform this role much better due to faster speed. While Manga Boogie Cat's slow movement speed is generally a con, it does have a use in preventing Zombies from burrowing or certain slow units from unleashing dangerous attacks whereas units such as Crazed Cat can sometimes slip into the range of an enemy with a powerful Omni Strike attack and weaken strong pushes or defenses.
