Manga Cat (Switch Special Cat)

Not to be confused with Cat (Normal Cat)

Manga Cat is a Special Cat added in Patch 1.0.6 and is only found in the Nintendo Switch version of The Battle Cats. He comes from Manya Immortal Nosuke's "Manga! The Battle Cats" and was put out as promotional material for the CoroCoro Magazine Monthly January 2024 Issue. Manga Cat would be obtained from a trading card containing a serial code in which the player could redeem and obtain said unit. As of December 15, 2023, Manga Cat is only obtainable in the Japanese (JP) version.

Strategy/Usage

Identical to Cat in terms of usage. Due to its expendable nature, Manga Cat can be deployed en masse as a wave of meat shields for your main attackers or crowd controllers. While it may succeed in its role, it is just as easily replaceable as all the other cheap meat shields available the player naturally obtains throughout the game. Though unlike most Cat clones, Manga Cat does not have any major caveat that would render it weaker than its original counterpart.

Appearance

• Normal Form: It's Cat from the manga but now assumes a bipedal stance.
• Evolved Form: The same regular Cat but now has a huge pigeon tumor growing on its head. It seems that it also has a sentience of its own.
