Strategy/Usage[]
Unlike Red Riding Mina and other powerful Long Distance units such as Medalist Cat, Yulala has certain flaws which prevent him from reaching his full potential as a Long Distance attacker. Upon initial observation, he can be seen as a Polevaulter Cat with improved stats in exchange for a much higher cost and cooldown. His fast attack rate allows him to stunlock threats that only take small amounts of damage to knock back. However, his very high speed and low range combined can backfire and dramatically reduces his survivability, not to mention his damage is below average for his cost, range and recharge. More often than not, Yulala will suicidally rush into the line of fire only to be destroyed and remain on cooldown for a long time.
True Form[]
Yulala gains more health, faster cooldown and now comes with anti-Relic abilities. Although his health remains mediocre and Relic enemies tend to be aggressive with their high stats, Yulala does have a niche against them. His massive damage ability makes his hits far more punishing against them, and when properly stalled, can quickly melt large amounts of their health. His best targets include the likes of M. Ost, Relic Doge, Sir Rel, Loris and Relic Bun-Bun, as he outranges all of them and can hit clusters of peons ahead, though longer-ranged Relics, such as Lowkey and Othom, can still counter him easily.

Appearance[]
- Normal Form: Appears to be some kind of tribal shaman holding a large staff with a shredded flag. He wears an oversized wooden mask with a pair of horns and a smiling face with large teeth and has long hair.
- Evolved Form: The face painted on the wooden mask now is that of a cat. The top of the staff is now rounded with cat ears partially resembling the top of the Heavenly Tower.
- True Form: Same as Evolved Form but colored.

Trivia[]
- His design may be a reference to the character Mudman from the World Heroes series.
- Masked Yulala's description references the meme Cool Story, Bro.
- He is Master Uril's son. Mystic Mask Yulala's Japanese description calls him the head of his clan, and enemy Master Uril's Japanese description says he passed down that same title to his son when he retired.
- It is heavily implied that Ururun is the daughter of Masked Yulala, as they both wear masks, have the same white hair and seem to use the same attack. Masked Yulala also mentions "his 12-year old daughter" in his Evolved Form's description, while Spiritual Yulala's Japanese description mentions an "adolescent daughter" as well as Yulala's futile attempts to get her attention. Ururun Cat's description says that her father is a school teacher and Mystic Mask Yulala's description states that he teaches modern dance to kindergartners, further hinting that he is Ururun's father. Their Normal Forms' descriptions also state that both Yulala and Ururun will "join those who have defeated them", suggesting a that they all follow the family tradition of joining those who have defeated them. In Sacrifice Apprenticeship, they even appear together.
- Ururun Wolf's, Masked Yulala's, Master Uril's and Urs & Fenrir's Japanese descriptions all start with a quote followed by how they joined the Cat Army, which always includes the word 勝手 (katte, meaning "selfish", "self-serving" or "acting on one's own without asking").
- Like Hermit Cat, the staff held by Yulala resembles his floor within the Heavenly Tower (Floor 40).
