Strategy/Usage[]
Matador Cat has the niche of dodging the attacks of Red enemies, a rare one in the Cat Army. However, its usage is limited by the low activation chance (30%), low health and high cost of 540¢. The cooldown doesn't help either. Because of this, Matador is outclassed by many other cats at its role, such as Thor Cat, Fried Shrimp Cat and often generalist meatshields too. Because of this, its use is only recommended in complete absence of alternatives.
True Form[]
Improved speed and health bring little to Bellydance Cat, who stays too weak relative to her cost for her stats to really matter. As such, it is not recommended to give much priority to this evolution, unless one plans to invest in her Talents.
Talents[]
Target Aku makes her a viable meatshield in several Aku-centered stages, as Aku enemies typically have Shields, meaning most other crowd-controlling options tend not to work if not aided by Shield Piercers. The scenarios where this will see use remains rare, but can occasionally prove helpful if it triggers, mainly in pure Red/Aku stages, or those that mix them, such as Wrath of Hell and Okame's Teahouse. Slow is hard to utilize because of her short range, meaning that most enemies would be standing still anyway if Bellydance could hit them, plus there are far better options for anti-Red crowd control. Resist Freeze is meant to improve her performance in presence of Cerberus Kids, Wicked Face, THE FOLIVOREAN or Dark Emperor Santa and in some specific situations, but it's unlikely to make much of a difference; it should, therefore, be unlocked only if a situation calls for it. Defense Buff and Attack Buff are good boosts for this unit, but not worth it unless she is already boosted by + levels.
