Mer-Cat is a Rare Cat that can be unlocked by playing the Rare Cat Capsule. True Form increases defense, range and movement speed, and attacks gain area effect.

Evolves into Commando Cat at level 10.
Evolves into Cameraman Cat at level 30 using Catfruit.
Pros:
- High attack power for a Rare Cat.
- Strong against Floating enemies.
- Might survive a lethal strike.

- Fairly fast production rate
- True Form grants Area Attack and greatly improves HP/speed.
Cons:
- Veryslow movement speed.
- Short-ranged attacks.
- Single-target outside of True Form.

Appearance
- Normal Form: A mermaid cat that attacks by doing a flip into the air.
- Evolved Form: A soldier cat that attacks by flipping into the air.
- True Form: A journalist cat that attacks by flipping into the air and taking a picture.
Trivia
- The attack animation of True Form lasts 1f longer than Normal and Evolved one because Cameraman Cat flashes her camera before doing the rest of its attack animation.
- Cameraman Cat has Mer-Cat in its name.
- Mer-Cat is a lot like Kai in that both of them resists floating, survives once, and has a good health-to-cost ratio. Mer-Cat is however much more spammable.
- Is somewhat a reference to The Little Mermaid, as she becomes humanoid in the evolved form.
