My theory is that, just like they have stages that check the levels on units, like torture room, stages that teach alternate ways of winning battles, like those in Grotesque Gallery, and stages that require various approaches all over the place, they made Gauntlets with the goal of having people review their strategy and get to know a stage to the point where it can be improved, thus getting better as a requirement to complete the same stage as it gets harded. The cooldown also foces the completion of stages to take days, so one can come in with a fresh mind every few stages.
It is obviously not implemented in the best way, but I wouldn't call it lazy.
well at least you're optimistic. I don't believe this strategy is working very well though as I've given up on even trying mega. 4-star sol is my main goal currently. I am usually not one to give up easily (geometry dash needs some serious dedacation), but I feel like the whole setup and concept of gauntlet stages was flawed, kinda like outbreaks. Making you wait for 30 minutes to complete the same repetitive stage all over again to recieve a few power ups, this gets boring very fast. Usually I wouldn't review my strategy if it was successful in the first place, but I think having to review what could've gone wrong with the lineup that worked for the past 50 stages is even more annoying, especially when you're already demotivated.
Though I suggested Bureaucrat (which I didn't know was an extremely important position), it's good enough for what you got.
Anyway, I hereby give you a challenge, do you accept it?
Regardless of your answer, I will spill you the details:
There are currently over 20k images in the wiki cache, I want you to find every duplicate (or near-identical) images possible and either remove them (if you have the power) or report them to the Admins and let them do the work.
You can say this is totally unnecessary, but then aren't every other challenges in history?
Rewards, if you ask? As long as it's within my power, your call.
Besides the ones in Special:UnusedFiles, others would need extra work done to pages that contain them, that or they are random images in comments and forum.
I do not think it would be nice to remove them, people should be free to post images in the forum and all.
