  • I know you are the admin but that page looks like the one of a rookie editor u think it’s better if you wait a bit so I can do a better page because it looks bad that someone sees those pages it’s actually in the editing rules do not make those type of empty pages

  • Since I don't think Xavier have that much power, I am just gonna send this to you:

Can you change the background of this very Wiki (which is the map of ItF) to the map of CotC? Like that sounds super cool and is one hell of a change to the entire Wiki atmospherically.

    • I think the current opacity is good enough, if we change it, people can't see either the ItF background or the content of the pages. (I might not understand correctly the point of your message, sorry)

You should ask Fredy-paisen for these kinda things, since my sense of design pretty sucks.

It should display the background just fine even in tablet (moblies just stay default style), so making the content display layer opaque doesn't affect the background as a whole, it will instead make changing background much simpler!

But okay, I shall consult this "Mr. Fredy" on this matter.

  • I see a whole bunch of admins/bureacrats that are inactive. I don't understand why they still have ranks if they come on like once a year. If they are not using these priveliges then whats the point of them having them?

    I'll give examples

The most obvious example would of course be Brandon Pierce: Almost never uses the wiki and when he does it's just to fix something minor

After is filthy bones. Whilst he was incredibly active once, he hasn't used the wiki since July 2017

And then theres ClimmyClim: Only active for one year last edited in 2016.

  • The new BG makes editing and texting very difficult, and the coloring of the Background makes words very hard to read, making source editor almost mandatory for larger edits.

A background with lighter colors would easily solve out this issue, such as this one:

  • Hi,

I just wanted to make sure you don't miss the messages I just posted about Wiki maintenance on DarkenedXavier's wall and Enabling Discussions on Fredy-san's wall, so you can add your input.

    • Removing red links is always my priority to edit, as the game update it will keep growing.

I've been using Special:Forum for communication since forever and feel completely comfortable with it, until I can't highlight things anymore, as for Discussions I'm never a fan of it and won't have plan to enable it on this wiki. The traffic mostly come from mobile devices is expected, but I don't expect anyone to check out the forums before the wiki articles.

  • Lately, I've noticed a couple glitches happening on this wiki:

    1. Images in tables or templates fail to show up. This is most noticeable with enemy base images and in the Catfruit article. Oddly enough, they do appear when viewing a preview of the article while editing, but not when viewing the article normally.
    2. Link previews don't appear when using the source editor, which has made adding links much more tedious than necessary.

These glitches don't happen to me on other wikis, so I doubt it's an issue on Fandom's end. I have a feeling that they're caused by the MediaWiki.js changes you made a few days ago, but that's just a theory.

Can you try and get to the bottom of this?

    • 2 more glitches are that clicking Explore does nothing and the mailbox doesn’t work sometimes.

    • A new revision of that page was applied to the whole wiki, I suppose it is the reason for those glitches.

Due to me not understanding how to work with JS on this site (really simple for dummies) and the author decided to not work on it further, I'll remove the unnecessary parts entirely out of the script. It will take a few days for it to make changes though.

I sorry for the inconvenience, if you feel like it's actually convenient in the first place.

  • Hi,

I noticed that your wiki is still using old-style infobox templates. May I suggest that they be converted to the modern "portable infobox" style? It'd make them more mobile-friendly for people who view the wiki on a smartphone, and easier to make changes & improvements to the template. If you like, I can create a draft version of one of them as an example.
