Strategy[]
Midnight Lycopene is the first Legend Stage to be balanced around Cats of the Cosmos Chapter 2's Anti-Starred Alien Treasures. It can prove to be quite difficult if you only have the Treasures from the first Cats of the Cosmos chapter, but becomes a pushover with maxed Treasures from all three chapters.
The battle plays out as you might expect. Hurricat and Waitress Cat serve as decent Critical Hitters, Loincloth Cat, Kendo Cat, and especially Major Leaguer Cat are good Barrier Breakers, tanks or Catellites serve as meatshields, and a long-ranged heavy hitter such as a Legend Cat can be used to take down the Le'Solars.
Trivia[]
- Lycopene is the chemical in tomatoes that makes them red. Thus, Lycopene Sunset might refer to a reddish-colored sunset, and Midnight Lycopene might refer to a later point in time. Alternatively, there is a darker-colored tomato called a Midnight Tomato, but this doesn't appear to be the best explanation.
- Midnight Lycopene may have been designed specifically to be cleared using Space Marine Cat, who was added in the same update and has both Critical Hit and Barrier Breaker abilities.
