Mighty Aethur Ltd. (Uber Rare Cat)

Mighty Aethur Ltd. is a Uber Rare Cat that can be unlocked by playing the Rare Cat Capsule during the Frontline Assault Iron Legion event. It was added in Version 10.3. True Form added in Version 11.1 adds a guaranteed chance to survive a lethal strike and gains 30% chance to Dodge attacks. Talents were added in Version 13.5.

Strategy/Usage

This unit is very cheap and has powerful attacks, which is a great combination for the usually stingy Zombies that he can be expected to encounter. Their survivability prevents it from being effective against Zombie enemies that burrow in front of them, but if summoned at the right time, they can make a huge difference by quickly delivering his insanely high damage. Their low cooldown and cost combined with their extremely high specialized DPS vs Zombies compared to other Iron Legion makes them one of the best units the set has to offer.

What sets Mighty Aethur Ltd. apart from almost all other anti-Zombie and Zombie Killer Cats is that it has an extremely long Omni Strike behind it, meaning that Mighty Aethur Ltd. can snipe unburrowed Zombies that have burrowed away from it. Additionally, its low cost and fast recharge time are ideal in essentially all Zombie stages; but it is still suicidal in that its range is very low. Due to its low range, three knockbacks, and low damage against non-Zombies, Mighty Aethur Ltd. should not be used as a generalist.

Another merit of Mighty Aethur Ltd. is the Cat Transport combo with Courier, increasing worker start level by 2. This is one of the more efficient worker combos, equivalent to Longnecks and only losing out to Don't Mess With Me! Considering how useful Courier is as a general attacker, Mighty Aethur Ltd. is still worth bringing even for the combo.

True Form

Ultra Atlantis Logistix gains improved survivability, though not from improved range or HP. Rather, this comes in the form of its lethal strike survive and dodge chance. These contribute a lot to its survivability in general in Zombie-oriented stages, with dodge helping it slip hits in if Zombies ever bury into its range, and Survive giving this unit another chance in battle. You may invest in this True Form if you have the spare Catfruit to make this unit last longer against Zombies, or if you also wish to unlock its Talents.

Talents

Soulstrike is surprisingly one of the best talents on this unit, thanks to its disposability, attack rate and long Omni-Strike that can catch corpses from behind, being able to eviscerate corpses that weren't killed by Logistix. This is the only Soulstrike talent that's good on an Iron Legion unit, and that says a lot.

Ultra Atlantis Logistix gains the ability to Slow, which is a nice bonus, though the uptime at max is only 33%. It's a nice bonus if you wish to prevent zombies like Cadaver Bear from pushing too far, though you should focus on other talents.

Immune to Weaken is fairly situational, as Zroco is the only Zombie that inflicts Weaken, and the chances of Logistix surviving being hit by multiple Zrocos without protection are low. It can help if it manages to reposition after being hit by Zroco, though again, it is a situational talent.

Resist Freeze, like other resist talents, aren't worth the heavy investment. It may help against certain Henry+Zombie stages and against the likes of Zir Zeal, though the talent is very expensive to fully invest into and is generally not worth the investment.

As a unit reliant on stats, Attack Up is the second best talent to invest in, next to Soulstrike, after investing catseyes, of course. Health Up can be handy in some scenarios, though again, this unit's survivability is still poor without the Dodge and Survive accounted into.

Appearance

• Normal Form: Four Cats maintaining a hot air balloon, which carries a disturbing orb contained inside a wall made of a mystic material.
• Evolved Form: There are now eight Cats maintaining the orb, which is still carried inside of the wall. The Cats are now in a military helicopter instead of a hot air balloon, and they are drying their clothes on one of the lines holding up the orb. One Cat is in camouflage clothing, and is difficult to see.
• True Form: The military helicopters gain some purplish accent colors, in addition to a blue flag and colors for the clothes on the clothesline. Fat Rice Cat makes his appearance by sitting on the wall.
