Strategy/Usage[]
Mighty Rekon Korps is a great powerhouse versus traited enemies; able to deal a whopping 10,486 DPS at level 30, Rekon Korps will easily burn nearly any traited enemy to ashes. Mighty Rekon Korps also has Zombie Killer, becoming an extremely useful aide to deal with most Zombies. However, it's better to either send it after a Zombie unburrows, or to interrupt a Zombie from burrowing (this can be done if you knock them back right before they burrow) so that it doesn't simply bury past behind it. The Holy Blast can accomplish this.
Mighty Rekon Korps can be seen as a cheaper and heavier-hitting, but frailer Gao that won't do a thing against Traitless or Metal enemies. If there is Traitless or Metal support along with a traited threat, bring units such as Paris Cat, Catasaurus, or Bahamut Cat to support it. Like most other Uber Rares, Rekon Korps also requires tanks and meatshields along with it, as it's quite frail. On its advantage, it has 8 knockbacks, which gives it higher survivability. Try to prevent bulky Zombie Enemies from burrowing to your backline, as they can interrupt the flow of meatshields, and leave Rekon unprotected.
Since he does not attack traitless enemies, in stages where the initial peons are Doge, Snache, Those Guys, or other traitless peons, he can be efficiently stacked by the base. Be sure to use Zamboney Cat if the peons are buffed. Due to its attack animation, it may get interrupted or miss enemies that get knocked back easily (such as Gory variants). Furthermore, long ranged enemies like Hackey and Tackey will constantly knockback Rekon, so do not use him on stages with them.
This unit works well against Winged Pigge, as he can be expected to be knocked back, then start an attack that will hit just after the weaken effect runs out, thus making this unit basically immune to Winged Pigge's weaken ability.
Despite Eva Angels and Witches technically being traited enemies, Mighty Rekon Korps cannot attack them as well.
True Form[]
Orbital Annihilator Ragnarok gains higher attack power, Omni Strike and increased range. These all increases Ragnarok's general usage. Firstly, the Omni Strike increases their general usage against Zombies, by causing Ragnarok to sometimes intercept those who unburrow behind him, but not too far. Additionally, this Omni Strike doesn't add any piercing range to Ragnarok's attacks as its maximum reach is identical to its standing range.
Unfortunately, Ragnarok still keeps its base weaknesses of being unable to do anything against traitless, metal or collab-trait enemies, although this is sometimes a double-edged sword, as this allows for stacking with more efficiency.
Talents[]
The first talent of note is the ability to survive an otherwise-lethal hit, which is particularly useful For Ragnarok. His range usually serves him well, but several enemies can push past this range advantage, and Zombies in particular can burrow to nullify it outright. The ability to safely reposition one more time is thus incredibly useful.
The second talent of note is Curse Immunity. This is largely useful because of the way that his Target Only ability works, since any unit with this ability can no longer attack when cursed. He already deals incredible damage to Relics, but they can just turn him into a sitting duck with a single Curse.
His third talent grants him a faster recharge, which is underwhelming in his case. Without this talent, his recharge timer lasts almost three entire minutes, so any means of accelerating his recharge is welcome. However, even with this talent upgraded to the max, his recharge is around 2 and a half minutes, which is still ridiculously long. It can definitely be an improvement, especially in longer battles, but it does not do enough to be worth the NP cost most of the time.
Finally, like most Cats, he gets Attack Buff and Defense Buff talents. As a stat-based unit, Ragnarok benefits from both of these abilities, especially Attack Buff. These talents are worthwhile mainly for those who have lots of NP already, otherwise, Catseyes will do good anyways.

Appearance[]
- Normal Form: A wooden wheel with two cats in it and an astronomy deck on top; both cats are rolling the wheel. On the deck, there is a cat looking into a telescope, with a pair of stairs going down to what seems to be a bookshelf, probably astronomy books, and a Magi-clothed cat is reading one of them. There is also a satellite dish on top.
- Evolved Form: The evolved form is much simpler, a cat with a mustache and a cap, wearing a scarf. Attacks by summoning a platform full of cats through a portal from space piloting an orbital cannon. After a long charge, it releases such a large explosion, it knocks back the cat. Then, the portal disappears and the mustached cat runs back to attack again. Very crazy.
- True Form: Similar to its Evolved Form, but the mustachioed cat wears a dark blue cap and brown scarf, while the space weapon he summons is colored in bright white and burnt orange. The clothes hanging off of a cable on the weapon are colorized as well, and a new cat appears to the left of them waving a blue flag bearing an emblem and the initials R.A.I.W., which are the initials for Iron Legion in the Japanese version of the game.

Trivia[]
- This unit's name is misspelled as "Mighty Recon Korps" on the Iron Legion banner.
- Mighty Rekon Korps' description in the Iron Legion event info incorrectly states that it "survives when killed by a Zombie". This is most likely a mistranslation.
- The Mighty Rekon Korps have the highest knockback count among all Focused Target Cats.
- Because Mighty Rekon Korps cannot target traitless enemies, it is possible to max out the cat limit with only Orbital Platform Armageddon or Orbital Annihilator Ragnarok in most stages with traitless enemies. Doing so will create a glitchy mess of sprites if they were to all attack. This is caused from the high amount of sprites and the size of his sprites used on his sprite sheet.
