Strategy/Usage
Normal Form
Mizli is best suited to provide support against short-ranged Aliens, such as Nimoy Bore. Although unreliable, she can stop strong pushers from completely demolishing a Cat army and can mostly trivialize many challenges in early Into the Future, as well as providing decent help against certain Starred Aliens, such as Star Peng. Her lack of survivability and lengthy recharge time prevent her from being very effective, though, not to mention how she can't do a thing against longer-ranged Aliens.
Evolved Form
Capable of Barrier-Breaking and being immune to Warp, Marinmizu is built for fending off strong Starred Aliens, this time with more range and reliability, which allows her to perform better than her normal form almost all the time. Some stages that grant a lot of time for stacking can be exceptions. Marinmizu's pushing power, however, pairs well with only few units, often leading, instead, to enemy frontliners and backliners being backed up in the same place, where frail cats may be forced into the range of enemies with a longer reach. This often leads to those Cats being unable to deal with the short-ranged foes too. This phenomenon is often known as Mizli Syndrome because this unit's design often leads to this problem naturally. As such, more thought needs to be put into using Marinmizu than most other units to find stages where her gimmick can shine more than it can flop.
For this reason, she tends to pair very badly with Paris Cat or Solar Cat, as well as most Ubers and slow attacking cats in general. However, she works quite well with pushers or long-ranged Cats, especially if these cats have some piercing range too. She can also be used quite efficiently to re-gain ground on enemy armies that are mostly Alien, even against the likes of Cli-One. Just make sure to use this time to defend and build up money, then resume the attack once Marinmizu dies and the enemies start advancing again.
True Form
Mizuririn only gains health and damage. This barely makes a difference in how she performs against Aliens, aside from the fact that she can push back long ranged enemies more effectively due to better health. It also makes her a better generalist, basically giving her a better chance of being useful in stages that have more than just Aliens. Additionally, her stats make her viable as a pure generalist in some stages where money would be too tight for more powerful but expensive units, though this is rare. It is advised not to use Catseyes on a unit with little generalist value such as her, which makes it very hard to keep her relevant as a generalist in endgame. This role is only realistically available when generalist attackers are also around level 30 and less so when one's "main choices" start to be around level 35+.
Talents
Health Buff and Attack Buff CAN make Mizuririn quite good as a general attacker, if there is also help from Catseyes. However, her full potential is not comparable to that of most other units if such boost is given to them instead. This makes these talents highly unrecommended to get.
Due to her tendency to push into longer-ranged units, the Survive ability turns out to be inconsequential in most cases and should be avoided too. It could sometimes lead to one more hit, though this is not always a guarantee. More aggressive Aliens will do everything in their power to keep her from really taking advantage of this talent, and she has no real chance in tougher non-Alien stages.
Similarly, although Slow is a straight improvement, only a second more at most will, once again, prove inconsequential in most cases.
Lastly, Slow Resist is going to come into play so rarely to be worth even less than any other talent. Overall, do not spend NP on this unit. It could possibly see use against Galactic Overseer Nyandam and Super Hyppoh, those situations are too infrequent to warrant the NP cost. This is especially because this talent merely reduces the Slow duration instead of negating it outright. Additionally, Mizuririn already outranges Imperator Sael with the ability to knock it back before it could attack.

Appearance
- Normal Form: A small, blue, floating creature with big dark eyes and a clear water theme. It is followed by a water drop with a cat face. Also has some sort of golden diadem on the forehead and two more golden bits in the same waterdrop shape on the cat-like ears. Attacks by summoning water orbs, then throwing them at the ground, creating a geyser.
- Evolved Form: Becomes much bigger and has two water strips as its "hair". Its legs are now much longer, which make its bottom look like a skirt, and it now wears a headband that is connected to the center golden plate. The geyser is now slightly bigger.
- True Form: Its water skirt is much bigger, it wields a staff that contains the water spirit and its attack has a bigger impact, now creating a rainbow. It also has a flower on its head.

Trivia
- Mizli's name resembles the word mizzly, a portmanteau of mist and drizzle, a very particular form of fine rain that 'hangs' in the air.
- Marinmizu's name is derived from the Japanese word for water, mizu, and either the Latin word for sea, mare, or something derived from it.
