Strategy/Usage[]
Like the other Ultra Souls, Momotaro has significantly different stats between Normal (spammable) and Evolved Form (high performance), both of which can be used effectively depending on the situation.
Normal Form[]
Although Momotaro's freeze ability isn't 100% consistent, it comes with a good enough health pool and range, which allows him to be one of the most effective Cats for freezing both Angels and Reds. Depending on the stage, Momotaro could even outperform iCat and Juliet the Maiko.
While it may not be his forte, Momotaro can also be used as a generalist damage dealer, not unlike Paris Cat. However, Momotaro may need Catseye boosts to maintain this role.
Evolved Form[]
After evolving, The Peach Angels can be a good support unit to rush in and freeze Reds and Angels from a safe enough range. Their quick attack animation and time between attacks make them a good medium-range support unit, while their low cost and recharge time can make for some good stacking and a high probability to freeze enemies.
Their cost-efficiency is The Peach Angels' selling point, as without it, they have no way of justifying their below-average DPS and range. Beware of their speed as well, as they can easily enter the range of enemies that have been knocked back, so mindless use of the Cat Cannon is not recommended.
True Form[]
The Peach Devils get enough of a boost to make them worthy as generalists. Their stats are finally in line with their cost, allowing them to rush in, do some damage and not immediately die. Their potential shows in stages where money is scarce and stats are allowed to be a bit lower. They also have decent overall range, meaning they can stick with it pretty well.
Overall, The Peach Devils are a powerful and relatively stackable generalist, with a great ability on top. This makes them a pretty valuable unit and one that can be relied on throughout the whole game. You won't regret investing in them.
Talents[]
Since The Peach Devils are reliant on stats, Attack Buff and Defense Buff make them even better, although upgrading them with Catseyes first would be a better investment. Consider these Talents if you already boosted The Peach Devils with Catseyes and have the NP to boost this rusher further. Weaken makes it so that, if Freeze doesn’t activate, the weaken may; it rarely comes into play and doesn't really have a strong effect, but it can be a nice bonus.
Freeze Up helps and isn’t as expensive, but it isn’t worth the price nearly as much; it’s just a single extra second. Resist Slow is not a good choice, as while speed is a main factor for the Peach Devils, they’re already pretty strong against someone like Sunfish Jones, one of the few common Angel or Red enemies that can slow to begin with. It might be useful for some Professor A. stages, but the improvement is not worth the NP cost. Furthermore, even when maxed, this Talent merely reduces Slow duration instead of outright negating it. Wave Immunity is extremely useful and can make him a decent counter to Berserkory and even Rajakong to an extent.

Trivia[]
- This character is based on the Japanese folklore character Momotarō. The Peach Devils has one of the peaches cut in half with a figure in the middle, alluding to the birth of Momotaro as said in his origin story.
- Momotaro's Japanese description has a small pun: the adjective used to describe him is momojiri (桃尻), which means "restless" in this context but is spelled with kanji that mean "peach" and "hip".
- The line, "On a quest to find anyone stronger than him." in Momotaro's description may be a reference to Ryu, the main protagonist of the Street Fighter series. His Japanese description even mentions that he trains restlessly.
- The eccentric group seen riding the dune buggy in the Evolved and True Forms is a Japanese-twist reference to post-apocalyptic films such as Mad Max, Doomsday, or Wastelander.
- The Peach Angels' Japanese name, Bakusō Kyōdai Pīchi Sutā ("Racing Brothers Peach Star") may be a reference to the manga and anime Bakusō Kyōdai Let's & Go!!. In True Form, their dune buggy takes on a color scheme not unlike that of many of Retsu "Let's" Seiba's own Mini 4WD cars, particularly the Blitzer-Sonic.
- Prior to Version 2.9.1, The Peach Angels had a quicker attack rate, making them one of the only two Cat Units to have ever received a direct nerf without getting any kind of buff in return—the other being Dark Lazer, who originally had Area Attack.
- The cats accompanying Momotaro as The Peach Angels are dressed as a pheasant, a monkey, and a dog, which are the same animals that the Momotaro of Japanese folklore is said to have befriended on his journey.
