Special Cat
Nekokkuma Killer Nekokkuma
Nekokkuma

Normal Form

Killer Nekokkuma

Evolved Form

Cat

Evolves into Killer Nekokkuma at level 10.

Pros

  • Recharges quickly.
  • Cheap. Same cost as Tank Cat.
  • Might knock back Black Enemies.
  • Extremely fast attack speed.

Cons

  • Single-target attacks.
  • Low chance of knocking back.
  • Ability is nearly useless due to most Black Enemies outranging him and having lots of knockbacks.

Usage

  • Although this unit has a low chance to knockback Black Enemies, it is spammable, so it works quite well in stacks, infinitely knocking back Black Enemies.
  • Works well with Tin Cat knocking back Black Enemies.
  • Due to its rapid attack rate, it can be somewhat good for taking out Metal Hippoes and in some stages, Metal Doges.

Trivia

  • Neko means Cat and Kkuma means Bear. Nekokkuma is Cat Bear while Killer Nekokkuma is Killer Cat Bear. Both of them have the corresponding cat's head each.
  • The "weirdly cute white bear" mentioned in this unit's description is Betakkuma, who is also described as a "weirdly cute white bear". Strangely, although Nekokkuma means Cat Bear, it takes human body (lower) half of Betakkuma rather than the bear (upper) half.
