Nekondo (Special Cat)

KOREAN EXCLUSIVE This feature is exclusive to the Korean version of The Battle Cats but it may also appear in other versions such as BCEN, BCJP and BCTW!

Nekondo is a Special Cat who was added in Version 2.7 and has a 30% chance to be obtained when clearing Punchy Prizefighter. He later received a True Form in Version 6.1 in which he gained a 20% chance to produce a level 2 Wave Attack. Later on, he reappears in The Battle Cats Unite! in Patch 1.0.5 but is only exclusive to the Southeast Asia (SEA) version via Package Version Bonus.

Strategy/Usage

This unit has low overall stats, which heavily limits its usage. In early game, it can be used as RNG-reliant Crazed Gross Cat, but once the latter has been acquired, this unit serves almost no use.

Appearance

• Normal Form: A cat with a humanized body sporting a Taekwondo attire.
• Evolved Form: Now uses red protective gear including a helm. The South Korean logo is on one of its sleeves.
• True Form: Now has short, brown hair, a different gi with dark markings below and the eyes of a Crazed Cat.

Trivia

• Nekondo SP bears a striking resemblance to SNK's Kim Kaphwan.
• In the Nintendo Switch version, it only has its normal and evolved forms while under a different name, that being Taekwondo Cat and HG Taekwondo Cat respectively.
• It, Baozi Cat, Crazed Baozi Cat, Li'l Valkyrie, and Li'l Valkyrie Dark, are part of a version exclusive in The Battle Cats Unite, as they can only be obtained normally via purchasing the Southeast Asia version.
