Strategy/Usage[]
Normal Form[]
Nerd Cat has Single Target attacks with mediocre damage, but has more effective range than the other two forms, making it able to cheese certain stages by using the enemy limit. However, in most other cases it's eclipsed by the unit's other forms and isn't worth using in general, especially considering his extremely long recharge time.
Evolved Form[]
Hacker Cat has the same qualities of Nerd Cat. Despite the reduced effective range, it can still occasionally chip enemies with its weak area attacks, especially against threats your units struggle to reach, such as Camelle in Chubby B. Goode and Manic Flying Cat in Forest Beasts.
True Form[]
Though more damage is always good, Cyberpunk's newfound Slow ability primarily designates him as a supportive unit. Given its low uptime and Cyberpunk's very slow recharge, it's often important to stack several copies of him for maximum uptime on his targets.
Talents[]
Cyberpunk's Slow talent is perhaps the most important, as it essentially doubles his ability duration when fully upgraded and greatly improves uptime. The situational Survive talent, when maxed, is similarly useful, since it allows Cyberpunk to reposition once. Barrier Breaker is unnecessary due to the presence of vastly superior alternatives that are far more versatile. Cost Down, however, isn't so relevant, since he remains affordable on most stages that do allow for his use even without it.
The last talent is a standard Attack Buff, which like all other stat boost talents is helpful, but in no way necessary due to his low base damage and high NP cost for what it does.
Orb[]
Because Cyberpunk is reliant on his CC instead of his health or damage, all Orbs are meaningless.

Trivia[]
- Nerd Cat was given the "Long Distance" ability in BCEN 3.6.0, along with a buff in attack power and attack rate (doubles the values). Before the update, he would hit the enemy closest to him, alternating between increasing and decreasing its range.
- Before BCEN ver. 3.0, Nerd Cat's description was: "Said to be unstoppable... if in his room. Net denizen who is famous for flaming. Uber long distance attacker."
- In The Battle Cats Unite!, Nerd Cat's true form goes unused but is present in the game's code. If it were to be deployed, it will run through all of its animations before remaining in its first frame in its idle animation.
