Trivia[]
- Like Never Summer!, Never Not Summer's Japanese name, Datte Chō Natsu Janyāi!, is a reference to the 1993 hit single "Datte Natsu Janai!" by Tube.
- Also like Never Summer!, each Never Not Summer! stage's Japanese name is a reference to a different song:
- Stage 1: Shōben Jidai = "Shōnen Jidai" by Yosui Inoue
- Stage 2: Neko no Hi no 1993 "Natsu no Hi no 1993" by class
- Stage 3: Summertime Blues Three = "Summertime Blues" by Misato Watanabe
- Stage 4: Natsu no Jō-san = "Natsu no Ojō-san" by Ikue Sakakibara
- Stage 5: YOUNG NYAN = "YOUNG MAN" by Hideki Saijo
- "Natsu no Ojō-san" is the only song referenced to come from the 1970s rather than the 90s.
- Stage 5 is still called Young Nyan in BCEN, making it the only stage whose reference wasn't lost in translation.
- It is one of the three events to have such a naming scheme, the others being Never Summer! and Cats in the Snow.
