Strategy/Usage
Nymph Cat's primary use is to inflict long-ranged Area Attacks, as she lacks any other Special Abilities. Compared to Vaulter Cat, her health and standing range are lower and she has a larger blindspot, but she inflicts more damage, attacks faster and more frequently, costs slightly less and recharges slightly faster, basically acting as a more aggressive version of Vaulter. For this reason, defending her should be a priority. The use of meatshields or tanks who let enemy frontliners live to act as stepping stones is most recommended when using this unit.
True Form
Nymph's previously pathetic survivability is much improved by their increase of health by more than 50% in True Form. This makes their usage as an individual unit even better than before, but as with other forms should not be freely sent without any forethought. Their original usage as a long-distance rusher is drastically improved, allowing them the possibility of sneaking into the range of a tough backliner, and dealing damage to them a few times.
Against Akus, Fiend Cat might be used to gain terrain on heavily shielded bosses while their shields are down and can be quite effective against the Aku Cyclone, although they generally tend to struggle against them due to low health, and some Akus having Aftermath or another type of piercing range. Beware that they do not have Shield Piercer – you will need the backup of Shield Piercing Cats in order to fulfill their potential as a Sniper.
Talents
Resistant can increase Fiend Cat's survivability even more. While he normally likes to stay away from danger with his LD, this talent can give him more of a fighting chance whenever Aku enemies do push into his blindspot. Targeting Angel enemies on the other hand, means that Fiend Cat can not only tank more hits from aggressive Angel pushers, but also push them back with an LD attack that can possibly work against the likes of even Angelic Sleipnir, making him ten thousand times better an investment than his Rare counterpart, Acrobats. Due to their lack of shields, Angel enemies are more vulnerable to Fiend Cat's knockbacks than Aku enemies, so consider this Talent a high priority.
Attack Buff and Defense Buff are decent abilities. However, like with many other units, the Catseye route should take priority over these talents. Additionally, the Resistant talent should obviously be unlocked before even considering the Defense Buff talent. If you are especially fond of using him, then deciding to invest into either of these will massively increase his usage by increasing the margin of DPS per stack, which synergises particularly well if you boost him in addition to that investment. Resist Slow is a situational ability, however. It could see some use against Condemned Peng potentially, but Fiend doesn't last long enough for this Talent to be relevant and all other Aku/Angel enemies with the Slow ability outrange Fiend and can one-shot him. Overall, do not invest in this ability.
As a whole, his Talents are a significant improvement for an already situationally outclassed if not good unit to begin with, and can be considered a worthy use of your NP.

Appearance
- Normal Form: Looks like a humanoid cat wearing a dress, a golden laurel crown and blond hair. Wields two axes, one gold and one silver, which she throws when attacking.
- Evolved Form: She is now an Olympic swimmer held by another cat. Instead of axes, she has two medals, again one gold and one silver, which she throws when attacking.
- True Form: Reverts to the general structure of the first form, this time, however, resembles a Viking-Demon warrior instead. The axes stay gold and silver, but change into battle axes, the pool seems to be demonic fire instead of water, the body appears masculine, full of scars and muscular, but also with horns and a demonic tail.

Trivia
- Nymph Cat is based on the well known fable of the honest woodcutter. What remains unchanged between the various version is that a woodcutter drops his axe in water, then a mystical entity tries to return him a golden and silver axe, which the woodcutter claims do not belong to him. Only once presented with his own axe, does the woodcutter claim it, only to receive all three as reward. Later, one or more less honest individuals attempt the same thing, but lie, thus receiving nothing. The specific version referenced by this unit and her Japanese description involves a Nymph presenting both the valuable axes at once.
