Oil Platform is the first stage in Sub-chapter 26, Sea Polluter. This stage introduces a new enemy, Capy.

Strategies

Strategy 1

Even though it may be tempting to bring anti-red units to deal with the Capies, don't. They are very short-ranged, and one bad hit can kill them in one attack. Just Use this strategy. Lineup: Mohawk, Eraser, Crazed Macho, Crazed Wall, Crazed Dragon, King Dragon, Paris, Ururun, Crazed Bahamut, and Catdam.

Start off by stalling the Le'boin until you have max money. Then use Dragons and Parises to kill it. Keep on spawning long-Rangers, but not Bahamut, Ururun, or Catdam.

When the base is hit, Capy spawns. This is when you should summon Bahamut, Ururun, and Catdam. Eventually, Nyandam will spawn. He doesn't do a ton of damage (~15000) so he's not a big threat. Soon, a 1,600,000/37,000 J.K. Bun Bun will spawn. There should be three Capies supporting him. If you have enough Dragons, they should deal tons of damage to Bun Bun, and Catdam can keep the enemies slowed. Once J.K. dies, the battle becomes much easier. Just get rid of the Capies and kill Nyandam.

Variation

I used this strategy but I failed to protect my frontline, which kept on being trimmed out by the combination of JK Bun Bun and the three Capies. I tried to kill the first Capy earlier, but still didn't work. I also watched Nurse Wuffa's video, but she had good RNG and my normal cats (such as my Dragon) do not have a high level. My final winning lineup is:

  • Row 1: Mohawk Cat (42), C. Dragon (18), C. Wall (20), Eraser* (34), C. Macho Cat (16)
  • Row 2: Manic Macho Legs (20), Holy Valkyrie Cat (30), Cyberpunk (30), Tropical Kalisa X (18), C. Bahamut Cat (30)

The key in this varied strategy is to summon the Cyberpunk. Since one is not enough, I stalled the Le'boin using the dual cats until it is close to my base but can't hit it; summon Cyberpunk and continue stalling. Ideally, you can summon another Cyberpunk, but in my execution my base was hit. That's okay, since the cooldown time of the Cyberpunk is only about 60% left. When the enemy base is hit, summon everything else except H. Valkyrie Cat, until J. K. Bun Bun enters the stage. When the second Cyberpunk is ready, send it immediately.

Basically, the slows from the Cyberpunks creates time for your H. Valkyrie Cat to freeze your enemies, so that if you have moderate luck, you can finish the J. K. Bun Bun before you lose hope. That being said, if your luck is too bad, just start over...

*Note that I didn't really send Eraser that much, since it is low leveled, and I have to save money for other high damaging cats.

Strategy 2 (feat. Amaterasu)

Lineup: Moby Dick Combo (Doctor (30+5), Crazed Whale (30), Island (20+33)), Paris (40+3), Crazed Dragon (30), Manic Mohawk (30), Manic Eraser (30), iCat (30+1), Crazed Bahamut (30), Amaterasu (35)

Stall the Le'Boin with Mohawk and Eraser, and save up until you have max worker cat level and money. Then kill the Le'Boin with Paris and Dragon, then spawn iCat, Crazed Fish, Island, Bahamut, and Amaterasu. Continue to spawn your main attackers, and occasionally Doctor, and meatshields, and eventually you will win. If your Bahamut and Amaterasu die, don't panic, just keep going. The main thing again is to kill Bun Bun, once he is dead you're good, and the stage is pretty easy.
